The undrafted free agent from Chattanooga was turning heads this offseason at Seattle Seahawks OTAs and minicamp. However, he still has his work cutout for him to make the Seattle Seahawks 53-man roster and earn a starting spot on the offensive line with young competition like Anthony Bradford and Chrsitian Haynes. “The Seahawks signed Curtis off the Raiders' practice squad for tackle depth in September after Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas suffered injuries in the season opener. After not playing a single offensive snap as an undrafted rookie in 2023, Curtis is now competing for a starting job at right guard. With Anthony Bradford missing much of the offseason program because of an ankle injury, Curtis worked with the first-team offensive line at that spot -- ahead of rookie third-round pick Christian Haynes. The competition will begin in earnest when pads come on in training camp, but Curtis has made a strong enough impression so far to think he'll be a legitimate contender.”

During camp, I want to see him take snaps at Tackle. I think the depth is okay on the IL. To me, OT needs attention. Cross needs to improve and Lucas needs to be healthy. Lucas is more than capable, but he may have some injury challenges that may keep him off the field. Curtis could give Forsythe some competition. Possibly Fant also.

Going to be very interesting to see how the O line shakes out. Geno needs better O line protection and run blocking for his RBs or his career with Seattle will be over.

In my opinion we should have kept our veteran HOF linebacker, Bobby Wagner. I believe that there will be a severe lack of depth at LB. We also have many questions on our offensive line. I also thought we could have kept TE, Coby Parkinson. Now we lack depth at TE. Having holes in 3 spots is a luxury for some teams. The good thing is that we are not far off from filling the gaps. 1)LB 2) OL 3) TE 4) Safety? Adding a few players before the deadline should at least put us closer to winning our division. A lot of things have to go right. 1st is the protection. Geno with protection and time to make plays equals 🟰 pro-bowler QB!!! Currently we have 9 million. I’m pretty sure that our Seahawks will make a few moves to get that number up ⬆️ like signing DK to a long term deal. We can do a few more things and possibly have about 20 million to spend on free agents. We can fill every hole with quality players with that much money.💰
