Only saw him one 2 years ago in Manchester UK; I can't wait for him to come back here as the theatre was small, it was intimate, he was close to us, he came into the audience to sing TO us, rather than us watching from afar - I loved his music before that, but after wards fell in love with the performer too - even my husband was converted that night. This album is long awaited, it does have the edgy, rawness missing, but its not missing really, it just softened with age, experience and perhaps a broken heart......

Hehehe, well he IS in his mid-fifties; he's not a kid anymore. I think he's grown up a /lot/, and it's showing up in his music. I lost track of him for awhile, and then I started listening to his music again recently. And /man/ did he grow into that voice. I remember wondering what he'd sound like when he finished growing up, and I was right about one thing: His adult voice is MUCH deeper. And he takes this thing much more seriously than he used to.

It feels like he pours his heart into his songs. He captures a feeling be it that of lost love, a longing in ones heart etc and it's like you feel the same as what he's singing. I don't know many artists who do that. Seal you are amazing!
