Smaller harbor seals are preferred, we catch many seals up here in Alaska. But Ringed seal are most targeted also Bearded seal

Why do you reload the gun after firing? There are people and a boat in front.

Hi Harritolli66, as you can see in 7:59 remedially after the reload I uncock the rifle. The hunt was not over at that time and we saw a second seal close by. If someone approaches (a boat) as seen in scene 17:16 you do not see me reloading the rifle. What you can see is that the rifle is not cocked and I make sure that the unloaded, decocked gun is not directly pointing at the crew. The camera angle looks a little wilder than it actually was. Good hunting
