For the seal, the rescue will just be a weird experience of being chased down by a bunch of human beings, the rescue net, and then the surprising release, when she probably expected much worse. As easy and uncomplicated as this rescue seems, we never forget that we could have easily missed this seal and her situation would have worsened dramatically.

It is called Donkey Bay because the sand is always really soft there, and in the past, people needed to bring their Land Rover down to the donkey gear to make it through.

So, you've saved over 3500 seals in 10 years. Thats 350 per year or about one a day excluding bank holidays (j/k). If it wasnt for you guys, then rest assured those animals would have died a slow death through strangulation, asphyxiation and all the other pleasantries! So once again GreaT JoB!
