Great video man. So do you as the Business owner always do the “physical work?” At what point in your Business are you going to just run the Business from far? I’m sure someone that wants to start a business is not doing it to be the “boots on the ground” guy. Can you give us a little insight in this? ❤❤

Hey! JJ (that you see in this video) is our Operations Manager and has been with us for four years. It took about 4-5 years of owning and running all aspects of the company before it got to the point that I (Daniel) could back out of operations and put more focus and time into sales and business development. The key to being able to get out of the day to day as the owner is finding, training, and TRUSTING the right people to take over. I don’t think that I will ever be a business owner that “owns it from afar” as I enjoy being involved in the business. Now, my primary role is building our sales team and to be casting/implementing the vision of where the company needs to go. Hope this helps! - Daniel

What does a project like this run a square foot
@proline_plmАй бұрын
Every project is different as well as every company’s operating costs are different. We like to encourage people to price jobs based off of their own factors as opposed to an “industry price”. This is mainly because square foot pricing can swing dramatically with small factors such as if you can do the whole parking lot in one day, if you are buying your sealer in bulk or from a distributor, etc. If you’d like more information on how we price, shoot an email to info@prolineplm.com

Before getting out of the seal coding industry here in Canada. We did a bunch of churches and each and every one of them were a 100000 square feet per day

The big jobs are the fun ones! We just completed a two weekend long project covering 200,000 square feet. Part 1 is live on our channel and part 2 comes out this friday!

Great job. I am thinking of getting into the business. One of my concerns is the health aspects. Are any of the seal coat materials bad to breath? I dont see any masks being worn while spraying. So in your opinion is there anything to worry about? What about getting the spray or material on your skin?
@proline_plm4 ай бұрын
Great questions! We currently use an asphalt emulsion based sealer. As with any sort of a product that goes through a manufacturing process, there are always health risks. However, this product is the least risky on the market. The only type of asphalt sealer that will burn if it touches your skin is coal tar based sealers. There are some areas that are starting to ban the use of that product due to the health and environmental risks it opposes. Our recommendation if you are getting into the business would be to use a liquid petroleum based sealer or an asphalt emulsion based sealer
