also, you can be filled with the holy spirit without speaking in tongues. 1 co 12 teaches that the same spirit gives different gifts, and that faith, hope, and love are greater gifts than tongues. Also an interesting study is to study the last verse of EACH 1 co 12, 13,14,15,16 to get a better understanding of the gifts of the holy spirit.

Great teaching: How do I reconcile the verses in Hebrews that says " He that endures to the end will be saved." Many teach that you can "fall away" even after the "sealing". How do you respond with that?

Hi Theo! There is more than one way to get the holy spirit according to scripture. in Luke 11:13, we only need to ask for the holy spirit and he is anxious to give you his spirit by your asking. Also, when one accepts Jesus into their life, they are in fact repenting, changing direction from the former self to the new self as a believer in Christ. I accepted pre-trib because of your teaching of the jewish wedding, but i have gone around on this one, and i sincerely believe scripture teaches us that we receive the holy spirit either asking him as in luke 11, or even when we turn to God as new believers....PS, i was born again over 40 years ago, and I know for fact that i had the holy spirit and never even understood the true meaning of repentance until recently...so i am convinced that we will receive the holy spirit where our heart is and that we turned to God in becoming born again, and it is confirmed in luke 11:13 that all we need to do is to ask and he will anxiously give us the holy spirit.

The numbers are the Strongs concordance numbers that he assigned to the Greek words. You can use that number to look up the Greek word in any Greek dictionary like Vines expository dictionary, Thayer Greek dictionary, Word study dictionary etc.

Theo I need prayer. The Lord has revealed to me lately that all of the hurt and pain and abuse from my past was his plan and a lot of that I never gave to him and because of that pain and abuse a lot of the time I act out in irritability and anger over little things that should not be escalated. Can I just ask you to pray over my situation to where I become a man of peace and that I am very slow to anger and that I treat my wife with gentleness and my children with mercy and grace. I don’t want to become this man who is known to need to walk on egg shells around. There has to a person strong enough to stand up and say no matter what I've been through in my life; no matter how much pain I've endured, no matter what my family is like...I'm going to break the cycle. It ends with me! My children will never see the bad side of my family. My wife will never see the bad side of me anymore! Great teaching. This was so simple to understand. I have have a question brother. Can we ever lose the seal of the Holy Spirit? If so are we able to be filled with the Holy Spirit a SECOND time? Praying that God blesses your ministry!

Abigail, thank you for the comment. It's my personal belief, but yes I think you can lose the Holy Spirit / Seal of God. Personally, I've studied the doctrine of "once saved, always saved" so much, that I don't think there's any way a person can be "once saved, always saved." As far as the Holy Spirit is concerned, the bible even speaks of not quenching the Holy Spirit, and not grieving the Holy Spirit. Paul on several occasions spoke of people who turned their back on him and went back to the world. There were people he even turned over to the devil for the destruction of their flesh. One of them was even a member of the Corinthian church! The bible says he that endureth to the end. It says many will say to me on that day, have we not done all this stuff in your name...etc. In Romans 1, the bible speaks of the "give-ups" of God. where God was reaching for people over and over, yet they continued to live their own way,. God "gave them up" to their own ways, then again he "gave them up" and then finally he "gave them over." There are so many scriptures that indicate that you, a person with free-moral-will-and-choice can choose to walk away from God. That was a little long for a reply - but yes, I believe a person can lose the seal of the Holy Spirit if they turn their back on Jesus Christ and on purpose walk away from God and continually quench and grieve his spirit to the point he no longer chooses to dwell in that person (temple).

My interpretation of scripture to determine if one has the holy spirit is A) God chastens those he loves. He says that if you don't experience chastening then you are illegitimate. People that lead a sinful life or are not led by the holy spirit could care less about discipline of their sin, so chastening when one sins is a good indication they have the holy spirit. B) if you can boastfully claim that Jesus is Lord and are not ashamed. (1 co 12:3) C) if you pray in all things D) if everything you do, you do the Glory of God. E) If you pursue to be led by the Holy spirit that you may overcome the world (1john5) E) if you walk in faith, and when you fail and grieve the spirit, you confess your sin (1john1:7-9) F) if you examine yourself and see good works and fruit of the spirit. (Galatians 5) I don't believe people will do these things unless they are filled with the holy spirit.

That's easy, draw the word together to see as its Holy. The whole relationship: G is an incomplete whole with one square angle drawn in. O is a whole. D is a split whole with two square angles drawn in. As we add a whole understanding to the word middle way we see GOOD. As we gather the first and last into the words middle way we see its own Kingdom to measure. Draw a Whole halved once squared twice to the right being the image of the word gathered, Holy. It begins with the whole images time: Time 12-3-6 Time, times 12x-3-6 Time, times and half a time 1/2x-3-6 Additional elements from the table: 12 Magnesium 3 Lithium 6 Carbon 1 Hydrogen One clock wise cycle out of many into one whole image.

The whole sky was covered in asteroids in the daytime about to hit, there’s more to the dream , I’ll tell you about it in a bit , I’m still waking up .
