I am going to film why I have the two inch beads soon. They are super easy to roll!

I really needed this video! For the most part, I was doing the "right" thing, I was using Mod Podge, with a brush. But this board system is genius!! Thanks!

I am glad you got something from the video. I am going to more about different kind of beads in the future but thought I would do them a little at a time. I love the board system because It doesn't take up much room and didn't a bunch of extra construction or anything else. Extremely simple to do.

You have loads of good ideas. Thanks.

Thanks Peg. I tried four different methods of doing beads and this was the easiest and the least fussy I could find.

Wonderful process video! I'm ready for part 3. LOL ...or maybe you give good instructions. (:

Thilda, you are so funny! I will have more beading videos in the future. I never know what kinds of things people want to see. So I just put up stuff I enjoy doing and hope that others either learn something or are entertained for less than 20 minutes. It's a wild guess!

Where did you get the long skinny bead roller for the 2 inch bead please? My dad ordered me a set of rollers from Julie A Bolduc of Just Plain Fun via Amazon in December but the pin is just about an inch and a quarter long. Before that I was hand rolling around a straightened out paperclip, and before that I whittled toothpicks to be really thin. I have also only used brushed on Mod Podge and decoupage glue for my glazing.

It took me a minute to find my rollers. The large paper bead rollers were purchased from Julie A Bolduc from her Etsy shop. She has different sizes. I think there are five different ones. They are called Split Pin Paper Bead Rollers.

One thing I do to stop the bead from falling off the bottom of the toothpick is, I take a tiny, narrow scrap of paper and twist it around the bottom of the toothpick or down and let it dry and it forms a little bump and stops the bead from going down falling off. Saves needing trash beads

Polystyrene works better to hold the bead on a toothpick

I used styrofoam to put my toothpicks in. Then I switched to a board with drilled holes. I labeled each board 1, 2, 3 for the coat number.

I did styro for many years. I had tiny pieces of it stick to some beads after using the styro for so long. That's when I switched to the composite wood squares. I do however use styro with my flower making that is one wire. If the styro gets used loads of time, the tiny crumbles don't matter. Crumbles in bead making, matter. I don't make beads as much now as I used to. I have thousands of them stored away that I use now and then.
