Wow this is so eye opening. Thanks for trying to do a nice thing, shame that guy seemed to take the opportunity to be shady. And man those animals (especially the kitties) being in such rough cages was so sad. Animal rights aside the people generally seem very nice. Cool video!
@cd5589610 күн бұрын
None of the animals had enough room. The cats probably had it best. At least they had enough room to stretch their bodies (unlike the birds who couldn't spread their wings or stretch their neck, or the 12-ish bunnies in a single cardboard box). Afghanistan seems like it would be a terrible place for me to visit, given that I'm a woman and a vegetarian. But it's so cool to watch Nolan's videos. He shows the more real side of life in different countries. It's cool to experience the cultures of different countries that I'll never want to or have the opportunity to visit. I disagree with a lot of the things some people do in their cultures, but that's life, and our differences are what make us human. It's so interesting to see how other people live, and I appreciate Seal so much for keeping it real. He doesn't white-wash the things he comes across to make it more appealing, and he doesn't talk shit about the places he visits. Maybe he's a bit naíve sometimes, but he's definitely one of my favourite travel vloggers.

Bro, I am an Afghan and I am agree with you. Body language never lies. I think also he was planing to catch the bird and sell it again. And the reason why he can't fly was that if they don't open their wings for a long time and specially when they are in the small cage like we see in the video, will take Hours bevor they ready to go. For example if you set for a long time and you suddenly get up so you would be not able to walk properly. Sorry for my bad English.

I feel like you should brush up on the way you speak and interact with the locals. Especially in sketchy situations that you get into in a way that is more street smart, sharp, and sensible for the trip. Granted, this is otherwise hard to pull off 100% of the time and my remark is made in hindsight of your past videos. Nonetheless, I feel like it could be more beneficial for you to reflect and improve as you continue your future adventures. Overall, you're pretty solid dude and amazing for these exotic adventures. That much is true for our entertainment, especially since you are more emotionally sincere and raw with your commentary. Still, do have safe travels. I'm just feeling like you're a bit immature, amateurish, and/or arrogant at times, which can lead to an otherwise impractical boorish westerner appearance in some of your encounters. Naturally, as a viewer and for those locals in your video, too - will look at you in a bad light. TDLR: Sharpen up as you travel, stay safe, and have fun adventuring!

Sadly, I don’t see their primary feathers (which are necessary to fly) and being in small metal cages, their wing and tail feathers were completely trashed.
