I love that ship too, only downside is my crew must come on deck and throw potatoes at the airplanes when they run out of ammo with their handguns. Key is if a CV is in the game stick like glue to ships with AA. I have won a few games melting down other BBs in the cap near end of game lol!!

I love my full secondary Patrie. Those 4 twins on either side with a 1 second reload are nuts. You have 50 rounds in the air on the way before the first ones land. You set all the fires, they damage con, then the second it wears off all the fires are instantly back due to the sheer volume. Its utterly hilarious.

I think technically the WV44 technically has the highest secondary DPM of the American BBs even though it is only at T7. For ranked I run IFHE on it, in randoms that is a bad choice, but in ranked that little extra pen power at T7 makes a huge difference. I absolutely shred other WV44 with my increased pen secondaries and then they get pissed when they die super fast to my secondaries and I don’t to their non IFHE guns.

I like to go into the training room and just go check stuff out. AMAZING places in this game. Funny story- most comps I ever got was right at start of battle and said "Hey guys- there is a burglar breaking into that house on the beach" BOOM- full broadside. Then I said "WE GOT HIM!!!!! Sending a boat to get our reward and medals from the town", LOL but maybe had to be there.

Regarding Libertad, It will be nerfed the week it comes out of early acces. WG is up to their old tricks again, making an OP ship which everybody wants, hide it behind 20K of doubloons. As soon as they can not make money more out of it they will nerf it because according to statistics they "just" found out it is waytoo OP. My advise wait till the nerf hammer will fall, and it will be a BIG BIG nerf and then, only then go look if the ship is still interresting. My prediction........ it will be nerfed to the ground and will become an average ship!

When I need Ribbons or secondary hits, and it doesn’t matter the Battle Type, I use the Japanese Super Aircraft Carrier Sieko (spelling). Select COOP, Rig her up for secondary guns build, and head her straight into a CAP. Watch her melt down 2 BBs at the same time.

Agincourt at T5 8.3km range, way more than your average 3-4km range among her tier. How about Hannover, which with the combo of Lutjens and her funny button can fire her secondaries of similar amount to Schlieffen, at a fast rate, they might not have the penetration, but have 12.5 to 14km (latter with the funny button). You've not mentioned the Massachussetts, which most T8 Secondaries Spec players prefer to run.

SCHLIEFFEN is a glass Cannon imoo. Of course her main guns are her secondarys,but.. Received One heavy broadside of,lets say any tier nine cruiser up,lets say Stalin or Petro,,.,dang..half hp pool gone. POMMERN instead.. might just have 11km Secondary range,...but, build into full seccs with Lutchens,man does she spit hell over anything commin too close 😂

6:59 Napoli doesn't have a Spotter Plane sadly but does have a fighter. I love Napoli she is so forgiving (to a point) and can chunk out the damage just by pressing W.

That short main battery gun range wouldn't be helped that much by a spotter plane, but you can use it to see enemies if you engage smoke and it turns out YOU were spotting them instead of teammates. But if you're too close to enemies they can shoot down your fighters. Plus they will go after enemy CV attacks if they decide to focus on you. Also can land hell upon Schlieffen at 5K and less with main battery guns. I've citadeled Schlieffen many times. But of course she can do that right back to you, so gotta be careful.

Secondaries wise Libertad is #1 but Schlieffen overall is more reliable due to her higher speed, torpedoes, faster firing secondaries and hydro

Even though I am a DD main, I love secondary ships and hence brawling. Even though I agree with your list, the Ohio is always my go to pick for Tier 10 Brawls and Ranked. That fast heal it has is so powerful!! Having said that, the Libertad has that same heal and monster secondaries!! Will it become my go to brawling ship over the Ohio? It depends, the Ohio also has excellent main battery guns that are accurate enough to get the job done. I don´t have the Libertad yet, but I will as soon as it comes out of early access, I have been saving up all my XP just for that. So as soon as I get it, I´ll see if it takes over my number one brawling BB spot.

I just checked. My Napoli only has a fighter available, so other spotters are needed when smoked up. Unless there's a way to change out the fighter for a spotter.

You complain that the Libertad is ridiculous and will likely be 'nerfed' and, in other vids, become frustrated with the existing sniping meta. Ii think having an op secondaryvship is a positive step by WG. As this may encourage some more plsyers to brawl or at the very least provide existing brawlers another option. Secondary brawling ships have to be OP to survive in this current meta.

Why not mention P.E Friedrich? It has an absurd amount of secondaries and they're very good. x8 twin 105mm, x14 single 152mm. that and the Friedrich has full BB armor (26mm bow) unlike it's tech-tree counterpart which isn't modernized unlike her.

Exactly, it's a ship that gave up basically everything just to have the most insane secondary dpm ever, but now there's a ship with better main guns, better hp and better secondaries... It feels bad to remember how much effort went into grinding its line and get Lutjens to level 21, only for that ship to be power crept that easily 😢😢😢

Pommern should be fine without IFHE, but it’s not as good as these other ships on this list in general. It used to be one of my favorite BBs but it’s definitely fallen off. Has good secondary range, but the secondaries are the exact same as the Bismarck in DPM, and it’s a tier higher. At this point, save your coal and get GK instead.

@lightbluewaves5526 theyre IJN 100mm, which means they get a fixed 30mm pen. They have raw accuracy through volume and you also get torps for hitting battleships, since all the enemies just yolo rush you

I despise secondary guns, not just when in a destroyer. Spent the last 2-3 days testing the Mode Shuffle. You literally can't play it in a U.S. battleship, it always ends up being close quarters, and you always burn to death with a half dozen frikkin fires. Never been sunk, except when I was already burned out of 80% of my HP. Sorry, being constantly forced into a battle where you cannot win is just stupid. If it's not fires from secondaries that pour a constant stream of shells, it's frikkin torpedoes. If Mode Shuffle goes live in its current state, they can shove it where the sun never shines, I'll uninstall before I run it. Burning to nothing ten battles out of twelve with no hope of winning is stupid, and it sucks. Honestly, having a feature that automatically burns your opponent down without you having to control it is just bogus.

It takes too much time to grind the research points for the Ohio, at least for me that play just a few hours a week and exclusively PvE, but I have all the other ships in this list and I have to say that Odin is my favourite, although oftentimes overlooked because of its small hp pool. Brandenburg would be a straight upgrade if it had hydro, but since it doesn't...

I know the pain. I am also a PvE main, because you cannot have a great Random battle without someone else having a really bad game. I can play more than a few hours each week, but a full time job severely limits my WoWS time. PvE mains are poster children for delayed gratification. Steel ships take about two years to get. Research Bureau ships take boat loads of free XP. The only reason that I have three RB ships was that I got the Puerto Rico in the first dockyard event, so I could use the Puerto Rico token to get a Research Bureau ship. The other two came from burning huge amounts of free XP. I have been playing for nine years. In case you do not already know, the campaigns for Halsey and Yamamoto can both be completed solely playing co-op battles (it just takes that much longer). You will get there, eventually, so just hang in there. Good luck and good hunting!

I'm fairly close to my first steel ship, which will be the Mecklenburg (although the Bourgogne comes as an extremely close second choice), but I have given up on the idea of ever getting the Ohio 😂.

Not gonna lie this list aint it. Odin at 1 is insane work, GK and Preussen are not good secondary ships anymore. Massachusetts and the Pan-American bbs are just better secondary ships than all of the German bbs aside from the Schlieffen line and they're nowhere to be seen on this list.

@@sealordmountbatten just checked, at 11km ohio is 39.5k loisiana is 37k (stock value numbers here, with sec builds i believe it exceeds ohio still). And diffrence is no gretaer then 3k at all ranges except at closer ranges like 6km or closer loisiana has higher dpm simply because accuracy diffrence is getting mitigated heavily, also i can confirm this first hand since i did take loisiana sec build to brawls because lolz and ohio's sec angles arent good when angled in and loisiana can fire 5 turrets just a few degrees off 0 to left side.
