Perfect tutorial video, thank you. I have an old brother XL4050 that I purchased many many years ago which has several different foot attachments along with this seam guide, that I didn't know what it was, as there was no reference to it within my manual book. Till I started doing some searches on Google etc... This will little gadget will prove to be very useful to me. My seam guide doesn't have the measurements engraved on it as well on my machine bed but non the less I'm grateful to my machine and it's attachments in any case, so I shan't complain. As I don't think you can get these screw types as easy anymore, only the magnetized versions I've seen those. Fantastic video thnx ever so much.

I have just purchased a beautiful Singer machine made in 1934, in absolute mint condition, sews beautifully too quite a treat to upgrade to a "modern" machine to accompany my 1898 model HaHa. What's amazing, is that the first seam guide that you show in your video, is identical to the one that came with my 1934 model. The machine looks a bit different though!! Keep up the great videos

Thanks! Sometimes accessories don't need upgrades. I personally like the magnetic seam guide, but the screw on is just fine too. Happy sewing!

My Singer Quantum Stylist didn't come with that foot, but I have the magnetic guide and the screw-on guide.

That presser foot was an additional purchase I made. The screw on seam guide did come with the Singer 9960.
