I listen to you talk about "honing the technical side of" your sewing and I'm giving that the gas face. Hard AF. I love your process. I love the way you take things and upcycle them. I've been sewing since I was 10 - I can use patterns, understand all of that, but what I am just finding the courage to try is stuff like what you do. Don't downtalk your skill set, sis - you are AWESOME!

When working with grommets or buttons, you have to reinforce the area with interfacing or a very sturdy fabric like canvas (I go with canvas because interfacing doesn’t always behave in the wash). In the photo, I’m positive they reinforced the area. There’s less wrinkling.
