This is not translating in real time. This is basically google translate on headphones. I want it to translate at the same time the person speaks

Nice video! Can you do an in-depth study on the video calls? For example, does it work well on Teams? Can you make a video dedicated to this topic?

3:20 i swear it's only a recording of his voice and not a real translation. Anyway, not worth the buy as it likely doesn't read back real time and does not allow for fluid conversations involving multiple sentences. I'm sure the technology will catch up but where not there yet, especially for the price

Will it work without needing to be connected to wifi/internet???

Where is there a list of languages that are supported?

How much is it ? It looks expensive😂. Maybe I still choose to use Immersive Translate to help me translate what I need because it is cheaper than the former😂.

@colinlindsay9503Ай бұрын
You have to pay for each language pack . And a monthly fee for some reason

Could you provide more details about the associated fees? I’m considering purchasing one of these earbuds.

Is it just me, but is anyone else grossed out by the notion of wearing other people's (especially a stranger's) earbuds?
@tttechnology2 ай бұрын
I think that's part of the reason it's open early design , nothing goes inside your ear and it just rests there

@@tttechnology That's actually a smart design feature. Thank you for the clarification.

Just like the AI rabbit and the humane pin creating a product when the feature already exists on your smartphone is pretty pointless
@esquared50642 ай бұрын
Real time translation is a difficult nut to crack. The standard features in Google translate fall very short to be at all useful in a live, real-time translation situation. This product at least appears to be designed to deal with those limitations and hopefully be useful in a real-time translation situation. I'm hesitant to buy it myself though since the devil is in the details and the device is expensive.... And knowing that timekettle is a Chinese company (with an office in LA), I have a hard time trusting them for support and to stand behind their product.

I am not impressed. The delay before the translation is way too long and when it finally translates it sounds like rapid fire, no matter how slow the original speaker was. Moreover the translation from Chinese to English is very inaccurate (partly because the Chinese don't use pronouns when the subject is obvious due to the context, the translator is then lost not knowing what to use). I would not recommend this product.
