SEAMUSIC was the first film of the TRIP-Quadrilogy. It goes back to the beginnings of the original composition "element", its first draft Frank Otto and Bernt Köhler-Adams had produced to set music to the archive material of the underwater filmmaker Frank Schweikert.
The result was so impactful that they decided to shoot new material to visualize TRIP's later soundtrack.
Together they travelled to the Seychelles and dived for the images of music. During the day the film was shot and, in the evening, long sessions were held to decide which part of their composition the images fit best.
SEAMUSIC shows the peculiarities of the sea: an unknown underwater world whose inhabitants become surreal main actors to the beat of music.
