I remember putting this climb on my to-do list on mountain project when I first started climbing. I didn't anything about it other than that it was an all-timer. I didn't know what Buttermilk granite felt like yet, or how tall the boulder actually was, or how hard and scary it would feel.
When I finally decided to try it this year, I certainly had an experience on it 😅 I got scared and frustrated and flustered and all types of in my head. As I try to recall it, the things I remember most are the friends who were there also trying and supporting me, it feeling really hard, and @zachgalla and crew pulling pads since they had been there a while--leaving less of a gym floor 😅 there are no coincidences 🙏🏼 maybe that's what I needed to get sendy.
