I giggled at that BS logic of Sean's, too! He said he is trying to go with the Americans, but just a second before that, he rolled his eyes and said, Of course, the Kazakh was going to steam roll the American! Anyway, that's the problem with MMA fighters: they will almost always pick those THEY THINK closest to them, most like them, that they know better, etc. Skill analysis is secondary for them, in their picks. Hardly any elite wrestler, for example, is ever going to pick an elite striker to win in a fight that pits two fighters from those two extreme camps. Ditto from POV of an elite striker (in a match up between him and an elite wrestler).
