This is one of my favorite films. It is well acted and well-paced. Too, it shows in a non-preachy way the hypocrisy of both America and Russia and it is done with humor. Doctor Bradly (Sean Connery) is somewhat bitter the government decided to turn an instrument to preserve life into one of mass destruction. Anyway, fine and underrated film.

Wow I didn't know that the production for never say never again went all the way back to 1975 and that it took so long to finally get it made I wonder how it would have been if it had been made in the 70s when Connery was a little bit younger 🎰

How on Earth did Sean Connery end up in this cheesey film? I'm a huge fan of his acting, as Bond, and as many other characters. He was fantastic in RED OCTOBER, MEDICINE MAN, and the awesome film THE ROCK. But METEOR? Why? How did that happen?

Sean Connery declined the role of Gandalf in the Lord of the Ring's trilogy (and could have gotten something like 20% of what it made) because he did not understand the script, instead he chose the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen I vise decision 🙃
