Sean Connery's Widow Is Facing Serious Accusations

On Oct. 31, 2020, Sir Sean Connery passed away at age 90, but it now looks like his widow might be in some serious legal trouble. Micheline Roquebrune, whom the actor married in 1975, has been accused of taking part in a tax fraud scam which has already landed seven people in jail. Allegedly, the home that Roquebrune and Connery sold in 1999 was torn down to build far more apartments than were allowed on the property. Connery was cleared of any wrongdoing in 2014, but his wife isn’t out of the woods yet. Here are all the details of the serious accusations that Sean Connery’s widow, Micheline Roquebrune, is facing.

It’s a matter of when...not if. This video would probably amount to defamation if everything were here say, but it sounds like they are stating facts and quoting people / judges, so the saying goes: There’s no smoke without fire. If there have already been multiple court cases, wouldn’t you think there was some reason the authorities would come after a person? Remove your emotion, and you’ll think a little more objectively.

There’s inheritance tax to pay above a certain threshold, lawyers have to know what the deceased has in assets and debts, so someone’s financial conduct comes out in the open after they have gone. Do you really believe that rich people have no money concerns or wish their bank balance wasnt bigger? Do you know what it’s like to feel pain of 40% tax on your monthly wages if you are an employee? Imagine the tax being paid by the rich and famous. Do you know that some (I stress the word some) people ONLY give to charity so it can be a tax write off against their yearly income if you are self employed / run a business. Even your local shop may engage in that behaviour to reduce their tax burden. There is a world we know nothing about. Educate yourself to understand that what you show others is a version of yourself you want those people to see, not the real you (deep down you’ll know what I mean). We adapt to our environment. Sean Connery was James Bond. That kind of stature can’t be tarnished. Google ‘Panama Papers scandal’, and see the list of celebrities that hid their money offshore to avoid Mr tax man. It was a scandal that affected the rich and famous around the world, including some current and legendary celebrities in the U.K.

Firstly, it's pronounced Mar-beya, and not Mar-bella (notwithstanding how it's spelled). Secondly, Spain has no extradition treat with the Bahamas. She can tell them to pound sand. Thirdly, your story provided no details of the charges other than repeating what was built AFTER the Connerys sold. How, specifically, is that their doing? Even if they provided a vendor take back mortgage to the purchaser, it still wouldn't implicate them based on that. Lastly, it strains credulity that the Spanish govt would strike up the band against his wife, now, after Sir Sean's death. Something doesn't sit right with this deal. You did little to cover this with any kind of tenacity or journalistic curiosity.
