Fresh is one of my all time favorite movies. Great dialogue, remarkable really, Loved it. A very memorable movie worth watching over and over again. With great actors too! I mean come on, even Giancarlo Esposito as Esteban (Gustavo Fring!) was in Fresh!

That was one of my top 10 movies of all time . Years late on the comment but, still holds up. I saw this movie the 1st time on the late show in early 1995 . Who ever played the movies on channel 13 by McCord AFB in the 90's was awesome.

The fact jackson was only on for a week makes a lot of sense in how separate the scenes with his dad and chess feel. It works, but that also explains a few things I thought. Like how the girl is killed and then next scene theyre just playing chess. Also never understood why he shooy the dog 😫

Fresh is a complex movie and the main role is a very complex part for anyone, let alone a child. Hell, people's brains aren't even fully formed until their mid-20s yet this guy was pulling off a role of Shakespearean quality. I wish he'd acted more and been recognized by the major award organizations for his performance.
