The final version of my WWF Smackdown 2 patch that covers the timeline present in the game of late 1999 to mid 2000. With 3 versions, different attires and themes/trons accurate to the era and spread across the versions, this is the Smackdown 2 mod that I always wanted and I hope it is the one you want to! Good video Sean. It's crazy that amount of mods that exist for classic wrestling games now. Before, the focus was more on the AKI N64 games and modern WWE 2K games. But seeing the Smackdown games getting some much needed modding attention has been cool to see.

Wow! I knew you was working on something but this is a crazy amount of choices you putting out all at once. 😮 I am blown away by this... Well done! I really love that no Hud feature.. it's strange but it's a great option to use once you are a pro at wrestling games and everything is second nature. It's nice to be able to sink into the simulation of it.

Yeah I hadn't really properly listened to the music with headphones and all before but I found it so fun there was no way I wasn't having that as the soundtrack, I don't like licensed music soundtracks for wrestling games I think 07 has a great one and then it's very hit and miss

I've been playing and enjoying SmackDown 2 for 2 decades to this day, it singlehandedly turned me into a diehard wrestling fan. I'm from the Philippines where our economy is shitty but I was privileged enough that my folks got me a PS1 for a present (PS2 and Just Bring It were already out at the time, but I also understood at that age that gaming was quite the expensive luxury hobby those days, especially in the Philippines. So we took the older console and older game lol but it's still a solid, fun time, and I'm very, very grateful to my folks. And that's also why the prospect of a Just Bring It mod is just getting people like me more excited but again, thanks for all your hard work and not letting this great game die, it's just awesome that lots of people still come back to it.)

Hi Sean. I just wanna share that your mods (SD2 IDM Rumble DLC & V3) works fine on my Jailbroken FW9.00 PS4 without any crashes. However, the bad part is the converter to convert the bin/cue file to PS4 pkg files does not have the option to import memory card. Well, it doesn't bother me. Nice work, sean!! 🙏

Smackdown! 2 is a super underrated game by those who didn't play it when it was new. It perfected all of the shortfalls of Smackdown! 1 and had a great season mode to top it off. I played this for years as a kid even though I had Just Bring It! I'd even say it was even better than the beloved No Mercy. Today's WWE games are stilling running on the framework of the original Smackdown! games.

Oh I think the big thing for me when comparing the two was that Smackdown 2 didn't have the multiple attires to cover as much ground as No Mercy but now with my mod, I cleared up the biggest issue I had so I think it has a chance of standing up to it!

No we weren't able to add themes for the CAWs but in the JBI version, it will have their themes as they will be active on the roster

Nope, you can see the timeline in the video it just goes up to Invasion PPV and they hadn't debuted the new set yet, I think it came just before Summerslam

I’ve always thought the SD 2 model looked quite off in which is there any way to say, take his facial texture from JBI and incorporate it into SD 2 if that makes sense?.

For the OHY Mod, I don't think I want to change faces of the wrestlers I want to keep it very much in the same style of this is Smackdown 1 just in Smackdown 2 but for the JBI mod I would like to play around with faces, Austin, Angle for sure so we will definitely see about it

Now I’m torn between this and the Inspired Patch mod. I don’t know which is better. I’m just now really getting into the attitude era and I enjoyed the other eras of the 90’s and 80’s. I’ve yet to see the 2000’s era.

Well I would never ask anyone to choose one over the other haha The Inspired mod has more innovations than this mod but this mod is all about timeline accuracy so it comes down to what you value more ^^ If you watch through late 99 to autumn of 2000 and you love that period, this is the mod for you

It will have 2 RAW stages one that will have the WWF logo and the second one will be the WWF logo with the 9 lights behind it that they began to use in the Summer of 99
