So I'm driving with 94.5fm on for s couple days, I can't lie; I'm really upset, 5 to 6 of the songs in their top 10 chart is clearly heavily influenced by reggae/dancehall music. Now I was driving with a female friend at the time when I lost it, for 15 minutes I just went off, I would just love to hear our little Island Jamaica get the credits it truly deserves. It's nice to hear artist like Ed Sheeran doing our music but call it what its f**king is, its not pop; its a pop artist singing on a reggae/dancehall beat, which was created by some poor people out of a Island call Jamaica. Why you think Ishawna jump on that beat so fast?, we know our sound from a million miles away, so stop taking our sound and name it pop. I am so happy Sean Paul speaks up on this issue because when Mr Vegas did do it even some of our own people jump down on him.
