Lol Oh no he knew that. He was projecting his NYC narrow-mindedness. Put down everything that doesn't line up w/ your beliefs or perceptions. In his case, he never had a chicken, cheese, nor a spinach/ callaloo patty, so the only patty he feels is the real one is the one with beef

I grew up on all of these, my parents are yaadies to di bone lol The richness of our soil has no words; everything I had at my grandmama's house in Kingston tasted betta. My auntie's roasted tamarind chicken was like nothing I'd ever tasted. My uncle Fatta had a farm at the house with chickens, pigs, goats, ackee trees, guinep trees, banana trees, and thyme. Tending to the farm when I visited was one of my most fun and humbling experiences in my childhood. I have a lot of history to learn so this was informative for me. Why when peole meet Jamaicn people they have to ask them about weed.😡 Putting a negative stigma on Jamaicans. The majority of Jamaicans do not smoke weed.
@judithwilliams1746 жыл бұрын
@Brian Abisdid In this video they are suppose to be talking about food. There is a bigger picture here. There are many attributes of Jamaica and their people not just music and weed. There are scientist, farmers, and other achievers people who are trying to build the countries image and are doing good things for themselves and the country. Why didn't the presenter ask about that. Instead of promoting a personal minority activity. With what is happening in the world with black people we need positive imagery/mentoring for future generations to see so they know there is more to life. We have substance. We are doing good things and lead productive lives.
@judithwilliams1746 жыл бұрын

Lady stop chat. Wha wrong wid weed? Just because white people tell you seh weed bad, you believe it? You sound like a fool. It's western medicine by the way of Big Pharma who put a stigma on weed. They did that with all herbs. The replaced herbs with man made chemicals so that they could patent it. Patent medicine is western medicine. That is what it is. Patent medicine. Patent drugs are toxic to the body in the longterm. Many in the short term too. Weed is not a bad thing. If you drink, you are putting a way more dangerous substance in your body. If you don't want to smoke, drink a little marihuana tea. It relaxes you. Helps with pain, insomnia, anxiety, helps you to eat if you can't eat, etc, etc. And by the way, the weed in the US is laced with man made chemicals. That kind of weed can make you paranoid, etc. Drink real Ital weed.

AHA! I fucking knew Scotch Bonnet was a Habanero, I just could never put my finger on it. Jamaican cuisine is underrated, I have a Brown Eagle by me which does decent Cari food but the best place is down in Brixton (London)
@BeholdItKnits6 жыл бұрын
It's not really the same as a Habanero. They're both a variety of the Capsicum Chinense chili, but the Hab was domesticated and cultivated in Mexico and South America, whereas the Scotch Bonnet was cultivated in the Caribbean. They taste different too. The Scotch Bonnet tends to be fruitier and sweeter and often hotter than the Hab (on average.)
@sluttybutt6 жыл бұрын
gingergreek scotch bonnet has a buttery, creamy element like a delicious kulfi that habanero can only hope to get near
@thayungflorist6 жыл бұрын
Brown eagle is 👎🏽🤢
@spicefreak47266 жыл бұрын
I don't know about buttery and creamy but the true scotch bonnet's fruitiness is definitely smoother, richer and more savoury than any habanero. So much of what gets sold as bonnets in the UK and US are mutts not worthy of either name and they tend to taste rather closer to a red hab than the more distinctive jamaican pepper.
