Incredibly disappointing news. I've been following CrossFit for 15 years, and there have been many poor commentators and poorly called events...And I. Mean. Many. Sean is on a VERY short list of commentators who never made me roll my eyes, slap my forehead and yell "Oh c'mon did you really just say that?!" while watching an event. Sometimes I have to turn the sound almost completely off during events because it's better than listening to someone awkward, or someone who spends most of their air time boasting about how much CrossFit and coaching knowledge they have instead of actually calling the event (I'll be polite and not mention that person by name). Sean was professional, skilled, and just plain easy to like while promoting a sport that has been stumbling and crawling its way toward having any credibility in the worlds of both sports and sports media.

I definitely agree with you on this comment. I think I know who you are talking about as well haha. Hopefully the new broadcast booth will actually focus on the events and do play by play correctly and not just saying how much they know. Will be a very interesting year when it comes to the broadcast. Thank you for the comment!

Calling the clean and jerk ladder on Lucas Parker “you will fear the beard” I think it sucks. CrossFit can’t stop screwing up. SMH.

Lol why would we expect anything different? Crossfit is virtually incapable of doing the most simple things to make the Games presentable. Why wouldn't they fire the one person who's actually skilled at commentating for the sport? It boggles the mind how determined HQ is to continue making their sole event worse year by yewr
