Yes!!! It was awesome wasn't it!!! It was kinda surreal at the time... like you said , it sounded just like this original track and confused me as I saw that Oli wasn't screaming... but heard the scream in the background but kinda from behind me and not played through the speaker! Hahaha. Love it! Would love to know who it was.

It was obviously sampled. His vocals are still layered live. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's clear here at 4:11 where the entire vocal line plays without Oli's involvement.
