@@MyTardisGoWhoosh He touches the deck anyhow. The point is that his method relied on a marking system, and you having a marked deck, which was not mentioned in the title. Having "BEST" in all caps probably didn't help.

I was fooled by the performance. WOW! I use the cross-cut force differently - I call it the "crossless cross-cut" force: I still use the card on the top of the pack (not the bottom one like you did here), but I don't put the bottom pack on top at all, instead, I immediately let them shuffle or shuffle myself the bottom half and do a quick trick with it. Once I get back to what was the top half, I say "Remember, you cut here before!" and they are totally convinced they did, as time misdirection works well in this case. Now I will add the subtlety of using the bottom card, this is BRILLIANT!
@jaywaters32883 күн бұрын
I like the idea of doing a quick trick with the bottom half of the deck. I might have to give that a try. Makes the time delay so much stronger. Thanks for this little tidbit!!!

@@SeanDevine I have been doing good, Sean. I have been really busy with college since September. I am in my third semester going for my bachelor’s degree in history so that has been time consuming. I actually am performing in about a week for my community college at the Halloween Party they are having. I am going to need to write up a list of easy effects that spectators love since I don’t have that much time to perform. With the party, I try to perform every year since I have become great friends with the director of campus life (who is also in charge of the party). Another nice thing about the party, besides performing, is I also get paid. Otherwise than that, college consumes a big part of my day so I don’t get much time to relax but today I actually had a day off because I am caught up with my work. So overall, I have been doing good Sean. I appreciate you asking!

One nice subtlety you can add to it is having the force card second from top. So after the dealing procedure you have them burn top and bottom cards. then proceed with the cut. It really sells it even more. I think I learned it from Benjamin Earl.
