Mark Galer put out a how-to a couple years ago that explained how to use camera set memory as well as custom key settings on the A1. I can get four different custom settings. 1,2,3 and Video Mode. I use 1 for portraits, 2 for wildlife, 3 for 8K and then I usually have video mode set for 4K 60p. If I want to switch over to S&Q mode for 4K 120P all I have to do is turn the dial to S&Q. However, I’ll have to remember to adjust the shutter speed because it’ll still be on 1/125 from Video Mode. Then when I go back to Video Mode I have to remember to put it back to 1/125. I often feel like I’m missing something or doing it not 100% right but I’m pretty sure I don’t have the 9 options that the A4 has.

Sony A6400- I've saved setting for portrait, action and landscape in the main menu. If the camera is turned on with the mode dial aleady set to MR (mem recall) the camera does not show the memory option screen to select which mem you want IE MR 1, 2, or 3. You must now go into the main menu to select. BUT! if you turn on the camera in any other mode, say A, and then turn the mode to MR?, the camera displays the memory recall options page (as seen in the main menu) and you can now select which memory option you desire without entering the main menu! Sony glitch or my camera glitch???

Interesting! I noticed that you could save more settings on the ZV E10 if you save it on the SD card. The only downside is that if you change the SD card (or format it) you can no longer recall these settings, obviously.

Yea I always format my cards to delete the footage so it’s not a graat option on my end. That said, if you have a MR set for photo, video, and S&Q then you can use the regular “M” mode as a secondary slot. Make sense?

Your videos rock! Thank you for this. I originally owned the ZV-1 before then upgraded to the ZV-E10.. The ZV-1 has three 3 memory recall. I was so confused on why the ZV-E10 only had 1. Hi, I bought an a6700. I do some settings (SLog etc.) to 1-2-3 modes. But in these modes, I can not change F and SS values. The product says (not usable in auto programmes). How Can I do manual these settings in 1-2-3 modes (for video). (Solved; I saved the settings to 1-2-3 in M mode)

Been using this for years, only bummer is when you are using custom modes you can do custom white balance while in custom modes.. but not a big deal considering. Wish Sony would “fix” this

And then you find out that once you use the memory recall feature that you can't set a custom white balance afterwards. So if you want to quickly move between specific video shoot settings, but you can't manually adjust specific things you'd need to re-adjust.

Did you ever ask yourself why the Sony ZVE10 MR has M1, M2, M3 & M4? Because it’s not true that there is only one setting for video. In fact there are four memory recalls in the video section and I have used them all.! You have to access them through the menu as there is no dial knob.

The additional ones can be accessed, yes, but it does require you to map them to an SD card of which usually gets formatted to erase files (including memory recall settings). It can also present an issue if you have multiple SD cards. This is why I don’t rely on utilizing this feature but if it helps you that’s great. Thanks for the note, and I hope this helps someone who might be wondering this.
