You know how boats are such great financial decisions? You know how time shares are such great financial decisions? This is like both of those combined!

It's not remotely like that, if you read the article you'll get that though.

It's not a pyramid scheme...it's an MLM. See totally different.

Haha. Love it. But, make no mistake, it’s a time share, just with a boat.

You pay for the time you use the boat, you know like chartering it but it gives you an ownership experience except you can trade ownership and swap with other families that are also owners. But you also get to pay Sea-Net to manage the crew and maintenance for an additional fee. So,when you buy a boat that you can't afford, you can bring in other people to cover the costs. And there is no conflict of scheduling because I'm sure all the owners don't want to sail in the summer and spring break or winters in the carribean. Watching Steve pitch this is like watching those fake guru ads. This is a timeshare. Call it a fancy name like it's not a Pyramid Scheme, it's an MLM. It's not a Timeshare, it's a joint asset ownership experience. With a concierge

Do they have a concierge?
@darthkek19532 жыл бұрын
The concierge service is the service that makes this worthwhile. Yes this saves some money too (it cost you less than you'd lose in depreciation) but it's the concierge reading of the yacht, delivered to the place you need, ready-to-impress condition, with a click is what makes this genuinely appealing.

I don't know. I didn't catch it in the video if they had one or not. I think we should call them and verify that they have a concierge or an app to use.

@@darthkek1953 I know this because I crewed on yachts and my parents owned them, but you know what else does that? The crew and the captain. You call the captain and tell him, 'I want to sail on the yacht next week and we'll be aboard for 5 days and these are the people coming. Two of them have never been on the boat before, but here is their e-mail and phone numbers to send them over preference sheet lists. We also want to celebrate so and so's birthday on the 13th, so,if you can arrange a Vegas style party with cake and maybe some showgirls. I want at least, 6 bottles of Moet and 2 bottles of Jack Daniel's pulled from my personal barrel and brought on board. Have the chief stewardess prep all the rooms since there will be 2 kids coming and they'll be sharing a room this trip' and then boom...all that stuff is done. It's what you pay the captain and crew for. And if they can't handle all of that because it's a smaller boat with a smaller crew, you have a yacht management company that deals with the maintenance and readiness and then the captain hires day workers or dockwalkers to get the boat in shape and ready to go. What is the concierge going to do? The same exact thing the captain is going to do. Except they charge more. You're already paying the captain, that's his job. This is just a way to say you own a yacht without having to pay full price.

Mmmmm.. trying so hard not to sound like ‘Timeshare’ but sounding more and more like just that. Also talk of ‘The program’ makes it sound like AA!
