Hey man I’ve been really loving this whole Japan trip. I appreciate your Vlog style a lot, as well as your overall mindset. Thanks for putting them together and posting them. Generalized praise aside, I just really lost my shit laughing towards the end. You guys are walking back through the mall at the end of the day and you’re interviewing Vince. he’s talking about the day and then randomly steps to the side a bit and there’s just like some trees between you and then he comes back and finishes his thought like it never happened. It’s underplayed and idk something about it was just really funny. Looks like a great trip. One I ain’t making for a long time, if ever, so thanks for the vicarious experience

Thank you! You can kind of hear me chuckle a bit when the tree divides Vince and I. We both like doing these funny unexpected things that throw off the viewer just a little bit. There were a couple bit that I wanted to add in but my phone was giving me all sorts of trouble and it didn't record the moments. There are still some that made it in these vlogs, but one in particular I recorded in the train station near Legoland was very funny. When I went to edit, I realized my phone only recorded the reaction to the bit and not the bit itself. Bummer.

Looking forward to this one Sean. I am particularly looking forward to Hakugei. One of the most beautifully built coasters on the planet. Catch you all this evening~ Rob/Boston

Thanks! Despite the bad operations, I really do love the rides at this park. If you ever go, just don't go in July on a hot day. Not lots of shade but plenty of vending machines to grab a cool drink.

Good evening Sean. Really nice shot of Spa Land from the train at the 1:31 mark. Steel Dragon looks amazing from there. Sounds like the Dragon and Hakugei were definitely worth the trip. I would love to ride the both of them. But Hakugei would be the first one that I ran to. Very smart going on the air conditioned ferris wheel to cool down. Wow. The view from there was excellent. The footage that you took was even better. I did not know sitting in the wheel seats gives you a rougher ride. Thank you for the tip. How was the back compared to the front on Steel Dragon? Wow. The footage of that first drop is unreal. That is quite a drop. One of the highest steel coasters that I have ever seen. Part ten was fantastic Sean. The guys gave some super feedback. I would bet that you were remembering so much from the previous two trips. I know this is a dumb question. But would you go back for a fourth trip someday in the future? Thanks S~ Rob/Boston

If you ever ride a wood coaster and it has wheels over the seat, opt for a non-wheel seat, if available, and you will feel the difference. Same with Steel Dragon. While it wasn't very rough, being over a wheel did provide a bouncier ride. I never got to ride Steel Dragon in the front but in the middle and back rows it's incredible. Easily one of my favorites. I would love to go back to Japan for a 4th visit but I don't think it will be roller coaster based.

Thanks for sharing, I really love this park and I think Hakugei is my favourite RMC. I was lucky to go on a quiet day too and re-rode everything several times. The operations are APPALLING, I remember being in the queue for Steel Dragon 2000 and I was going to be sitting on my own and the row in front was on their own too, so I moved to the other row to free up 2 seats, the ride operator moved me back, even though it would allow 2 more to ride and sent the train our with 2 empty seats. You don't ever NOT follow their instructions. The whole lecture before a ride and being told you can't raise your arms, I still did though lol. Loved the Ultra Twister, Looping Star and Jet Coaster, I was lucky to ride the Shuttle Loop, but I hear it's now SBNO, I hope they get that back up again. Glad you enjoyed your day there :)

You are welcome. Hakugei might be my favorite RMC as well. I haven't had a bad ride on it. I agree that the operations are terrible at that park. They must have some reason for the loading of Steel Dragon as it doesn't make sense to me. I had ridden Shuttle Loop in 2005 but it didn't open in 2019 for more than a few minutes before it rained and closed.

Great video - Steel Dragon and Hakugei are two coasters that have been on my do-list for a long time, really hoping at some point to experience them. 11:07 - I didn't know they also have a flying coaster, is it similar to the one at Universal studios Japan? Really enjoying the nostalgic comparison of the 2024 and 2005 trip.

Thank you! Steel Dragon was running the best I have ever experienced. Acrobat, their flying coaster, is a clone of Manta at Sea World in Orlando. That coaster kind of went under the radar as I have heard from other folks they didn't know it was there. It's just as intense as Manta.

The school kids leaving the park early was absolutely amazing for re-rides, but was also kind of annoying for filming in the afternoon 😂. So hard to film the park when nobody was riding most of the rides; that said, I wouldn't have changed a single thing that day, definitely one of the most fun park visits of the trip. I love the guy just casually riding his bike through the waterpark at 17:25 lol.

It was defiantly one of the best days of the trip, despite the heat. I didnt' notice the bike rider until you mentioned him here. That's funny.

I had a really good time at this park despite missing like 10 credits, we got 10 hakugei rain rides and I still got SD2k which I needed cause I wanted to ride all the gigas. I believe the day you were there we were at Fuji Q which was my favorite park and day of the trip

Fuji Q was the last big park we did on the trip, at the end. During my previous visits to Nagashima, I enjoyed it but it was more crowded. This was a nice change.

Was Space Shuttle (Intamin Looping Starship) open the two days you visited?

I don't believe so. Most of the flat rides were closed the day this was recorded.
