Most people have never tried a melon flavoured pink cake before. Who knows what a strange bun tastes like? A dish that increases your fortune? What would that taste like? It's why salad and pancakes are such a bad answer to the question. You can already get that stuff easily, so of course no one would choose that and there'd be no way they'd be on the board.

I love how Seanie had both teams labeled as team 1 in multiple rounds and also robbed ILMSD of 10 points after the pet round. The points on the board added up to 100 but he only gave them 90 for clearing it initially, corrected it partway through a later round, then the 10 points were missing again in the next one. People say they have never gotten trash can hat in all their years of playing I have played for about 2 months and I've gotten 2 trash hat is it really that rare

some small part of the problem is "how often do you rummage through the trash"? the trash itself is not worth the effort, avoiding NPC detection often means bypassing what is likely going to be nothing better than trash over wasting time waiting for an opening, and some cans dont have any rare loot whatsoever in their pools. All of that isnt even mentioning just how out of the way some of them are, with jojamart as the worst offender. Most i know only check the trash on the way to wherever they are going, and only if they think they can avoid the friendship loss instead of going out of their way to check them. As such, that means maybe twice a week for every can during a gifting marathon and the one in front of jodi's house and the one next to the saloon every mine day of year 1 spring after harvesting onions. Outside of spring, it is better to go north out the farm or take the bus stop minecart, and trips to the museum and clint's are irregular.
