I live in Houston. Houston Baptist University is a lovely school right next to the hospital where I was a manager for many years. My sister got her masters degree there. I am a Roman Catholic, but I would not hesitate to my child there.

Dr Evans presentation of Biblical evidence is consistent with what Dr Wallace of the center for New Testament studies has developed, which is significant. Thank you for your dedication and may our lord Jesus bless and protect you and your work.

Was really Mark who really wrote his gospel himself, or he had a guy who wrote for him?.. once Mark and most of the disciples very likely didn't know greek language.. that's a real issue for me.. thanks brothers great talk 💪

the Jewish Essenes (?) sect only wore a single layer of linen clothing. It is certainly possible Jesus talked with an Essene about the mysteries of heaven. Is Clement simply saying a copy of Mark with this addition exists and this copy must be kept quite maybe bc it is not authorized...could it be true but just this simple? Essenes were extremely law abiding and very religious...if true would it be innocent and nit homoerotic?

I was following the whole thing. Till he mentioned the Gospel of Thomas fake. It's the only Devine literature that's exists.The only words that came from Christ (Yeshea) actual mouth. If he read it. He didn't try to translate the phrases. I'm not a biblical scholar. I don't know how to dive in 2000 years of history And still find the present Bible relatable.

No matter which text we read the text will never teach that God is three different persons . Jesus is God manifested in flesh (as a man) this is the true Jesus of our bible.
@strangerinmoscow68583 жыл бұрын
hmm? how do you explain Jesus praying to the Father or saying the Holy Spirit will come after Him, or saying that they can blaspheme His works, but not the works of the Holy Spirit? How do you explain God being mentioned in different places during the same situation in different parts of the old testament; example, tower of Babel or the Angel of the Lord or Moses and the burning bush...?
@michelhaineault66543 жыл бұрын
@@strangerinmoscow6858 many questions but nowhere the bible teach God as being three different persons.You do not make the difference between the son of man WHO WAS BEGOTTEN and Yahweh who is Spirit and who begot is own living Tabernacle. Only one God the Father who came as the sacrificial Lamb as TEACH IN ISAIAH 35 :3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. 8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it;

instead of doing mental gymnastics and trying to make a later text support an older text and then magically call it prophecy...instead of all the cloak and dagger games why not just say the name Jesus ONCE in the old testament....jesus is not in the torah...and he no where near fill the requiremnts of the messiah laid out in that text....hes a dead jewish carpenter who told his friends hed be back before they died and he failed...he said a few nice things..and not much else///sorry

They're not performing mental gymnastics, they're using internal evidence and applying proper understanding of the language and texts, so don't just say that they're making fit their interpretations.

@@Nameless-pt6oj but they are..the messiah the jews waited for and is described is nothing like the new testament jesus...and they h=got the name wrong..so they used verses twisted them a round to suit their agenda and called them prophecy....its not surprising when you have the old texts so you can make current events appear to be prophecy...there is not one thing in the bible that could not have come from ther mind of a first century bronze age superstious man..nothing...and again i ask if its about jesus why not just say jesus..its far ewasier of course to make stuff up..jesis was the anger in the furnace witrh shadrach..the serpant was satan etc etc...in the end the mostsimple expanation is generally the right one...and you dont have to resort to magic and mythology :)
