I think there is a non magical for all of them. Billy's and Agatha's are pretty straightforward, Lilia's is as you stated. The way Alice described the curse mimics how many have described the weight of depression. And Jen's evokes how someone dealing with the aftermath of an SA might feel.

As an aside, the Hot Ones: Patti v. Aubrey Plaza is awesome! Given the choice of either apologizing to Madonna for saying she can't act or taking a bite with the hottest sauce, Patti looks right into the camera and takes TWO huge bites! Legend.

Definitely the best episode of the show! Everything was stunning and so much fun to watch (going back to the previous episodes all the cards are there) and Lilia soloing the Salem Seven was so iconic.

I feel like some have misunderstood the ending. It's not Lilia going back in time to "relive her whole life". I think she's just living the "gaps" she lost in her childhood. Her life still ends but the order of her events are different. Example: ABCGIKLMNOPQRST... (notice the skips) ...UVWHXJYDEFZ (the skipped is near the end) So she still ends at Z, the moment she loses her life. She just jumped before she hit the swords. She's not eternal, Rio still got her in the end.

"Oh! And we'll print all the Tarot cards out on the promotional posters, maybe even Tees and Sweatshirts, and sell them months in advance of the season!" blink.... thud (Feige faints) No wonder Patti said yes to this role (and Aubrey)

It's flabbergasting that people complain about "gay" scenes in movie's/shows and make it seem like this is something new on TV. Since prior to There was LGBTQIA+ n drag in theater, specifically in Shakespeare. For anyone who was around when the movie "Showgirls" was released no one made a big deal, in fact it was celebrated by men. The bigotry and society normalizing girls on girls but they get offended when it's boys on boys. Throughout TV history, the female body has been sexualized; focusing on breasts and camel toes and this was again accepted by society, however, never focus on a males body part. In retrospect, do u think I enjoy seeing the focus on female parts or str8 actors kissing? Do we make a movement on this? No! But now everyone wants to act religious while acting that LGBTQIA+ is being shoved down their throat. The irony.

This is the best episode. It's very emotional, and this is a person that hates emotional shows. This is the good kind though, someone dying for a heroic action. The whole show surprised me. I was totally planning on hating it. I hate all of the DEI casting, etc... in general. However, every single character was great. I guess this is an example of good actors vs checking boxes. Also, the writing was really good. Every single thing I might have complained about story-wise, ended up having a good explanation. Such as: How the Witch's Road opened with Sharon (not a Green witch). How Rio came onto the road. etc..

Does it really feel like DEI? I suppose if the characters were defined by their race/background but that didn’t really happen. It is a diverse cast but I dunno, it doesn’t really worry me too much? But even so, it was the ep where all the emotional beats clicked full stop

@@SeanTanktop You're right. It doesn't feel like DEI. I think that's why it worked so well. These characters just felt organic, and right for their roles. Even if they were a rainbow of colors and sexualities, it never felt forced. It just felt right for some reason (unlike most other shows). Anyways, I first got iinterested in Marvel shows because of Wandavision (even though on paper it sounds like a strange show). Now this. I don't really know anything about Jack Shaffer (or whatever her name is, the writer), but maybe I love her. lol

It's always the difference of the writing and if it matches well with the actors. But yeah, turns out Jac Shaeffer just has a really good handle on how to have fun but really build toward something special and engaging in this world. Fiege needs to take a break and should let her co-head the Marvel TV division cuase she's 2/2 right now and that is a RARITY in the MCU right now.
