He lost his girlfriend and almost lost his career, and he has a had a problem with booze. Nuff said. This is his public persona, and I hope he does different in the future.

Watched it on the TV during the full show. Awful awful interview. Nothing worse than an 'interview' with a comic which is nothing more than them doing bits of their routine for their new tour. Also made worse by the fact that Russell's guest slot is usually inspirstional/interesting/thought provoking. This was highly embarrassing. If it was Russell giving a mate a slot to get him back in the game, fair enough, maybe an intervention and therapy would be a better course of action?
