Dragon Fish is a perfect song for the aquatic update. It has a perfect feeling for being underwater
@JukesMcGee5 жыл бұрын
I remember playing MC on my realm with some friends a couple weeks ago (I hadn't played MC since 2017 at this point) and I just decided to travel far away from the safety of our bases (around the -2300's). I was met with an ocean biome paralell to the direction I was traveling in, which since the last time I played (2 years ago) was just mountains underwater before the aquatic update. Not long after, I saw some wooden blocks poking out of the surface of the ocean from a distance. I decided to dismount my horse to investigate, as I had a feeling I knew what it was. When I swam the 20-30 meters it took to get there, I dove down to investigate for the first time. Sure enough, it was an abandoned ship, and I knew there were goods stowed away inside. What I truly wanted was something I was entirely unaware of though. As I began diving down and up again with my limited oxygen supply, C418's Shuniji slowly entered my ears. I was already a huge fan of his music, but this came as a very pleasant surprise to me. I stopped everything I was doing and floated in the water. The sun began to set in the west, and I vividly remember cherishing the rest of that song while I laid there adrift. I am glad C418 is still opting to make music for Minecraft, as I think it is the domain where he shines the most. The developers also did an amazing job at incorporating his music at seemingly perfect moments during gameplay (has anyone else noticed this phenomenon?)

I luckily got a water breather helmet before exploring the new ocean biomes for the first time. I stumbled upon a shipwreck like you (which i could make out from the surface). Then, i put my helmet on, and let my character descend the slow natural way, to immerse myself. By wonderful luck, this song came on as i started my descent and slipped below the kelp tops. It was an *amazing* experience. And a wonderful introduction to the underwater world for me.

Your story is beautiful, and I have one for you too. I can remember watching my siblings play java on their computers in 2012, yet I only had pocket edition on my iPad. The nether that Java had seemed really cool! But, back in 2012, pocket edition didn’t have the actual nether, but instead a thing you summon with a block called the nether reactor core which spawns random things like potatoes, beds, and cacti while pigmen chase you around. I was dissapointed, I really wanted to go to the real nether. I watched my siblings play in it, and then I finally got a turn playing Java on their computers after years of wanting to. I walked into the nether, and found a fortress. The fortress had a hallway that seemed to go on forever, the types that go through netherrack mountains. While I was there, no mobs spawned at all, and a song called concrete halls began to play. I stopped moving, instead just listening to the song and thinking it was just really cool at the time, and vibing with it. Then, 2019 came. I was in the nether with a friend, the old nether, and we were exploring a nether fortress. We found a really long hallway with no mobs, one that went through a netherrack mountian. The music swelled in my ears and I stopped talking, and told my friend to stop talking too. They were confused but I didn’t explain, only listening the music I loved so long ago and still love to this day.

The best minecraft music of all time. This is the last music of c418, but he left beautifully and ended his minecraft career with the best music. I'm not old, I don't remember the old days of 2011-2016, so I can objectively evaluate the music of minecraft. And yes, I started playing in 2020, although I found out in 2017 because of KZbin. I always found the music strange and unusual (if anything, I study at a music school, so I can evaluate any music more accurately), it was not bad, but I could not call it excellent. But when I heard these compositions (especially the axolotl), I can definitely say that this is the best thing he did. C418 didn't study at the music school, and he was just experimenting, but with these compositions he finished me off and gave me goosebumps. And here the best in music in general is collected: Excellent sound, deep meaning that makes you think and much more. He finished his career legendarily.

It was my first time playing on a world that I was actually invested in, I decided to go venturing out on a boat, leaving my little island home, and I ventured to a swamp biome, I decided to go to the side of the area, and found a corral reef, as I started to approach it, Axolotl played, it fit very well with the comedy special I had in the background, and, it was quite emotional, to say the least. When returning from the venture, I stumbled upon and Enderman, no big deal, I fought it and dispatched of it quickly, at that moment, the track "Dragon Fish" started to begin to rise in volume and, around the time that my headphones started vibrating a little from the high bass, I found the ender pearl, it was right next to my docking area, I picked it up, and, well, put it back down, sort of just looking at it, while taking it all in, as though I was the hero in a story, and I had just found one of the keys that I would soon learn were the key to finishing my quest, and, in a way, I was the hero of the story, and this was the key to the journey's end, I went back to the little house I called home, and logged off. Because I simply needed a few minutes to take in all the emotions, and, I also needed time to clear my mind for a moment, to really make a connection with the events that had transpired and the music that played while they happened, these tracks, if placed in the right moment and the right situation, can have a gigantic emotional impact, and for just a fleeting moment, I felt, truly satisfied, truly... happy, even. It wasn't a sense of euphoria or excitement, but just, a feeling that's a mix of satisfaction and pure, childish, glee, in my very core. It wasn't strong enough to make me smile, but, internally, I could've cried of pure joy and a little sadness at the same time. these little, fleeting memory, is what a good, no, not even great, but amazing, fantastic, sensational, historic, revolutionary, genera inventing game that will go down in history should bring someone, at least once. And well, Minecraft just about fits the bill for that. May this game, MInecraft, continue to survive and thrive! May this game be passed down for generations! May this game aspire people to create themselves and create a game just as substantial, if not even more groundbreaking as Minecraft! May this game be remembered for what it is, a masterpiece, may this game be remembered like the paintings of Leonardo, *May this game stay in history, and be revered as what it is, The Best Game.*

axolotl sounds like the first time you dive into the oceans hyped with adventure. dragon fish sounds like the vast deep oceans the beat feels like your heart pounding and the different eerie sounds are the unknown mysteries of the water. lastly shuniji is like the large oceans in dragon fish except you choose to swim above the water periodically looking down. you can't see the bottom, you can only see the gradient of the water as it becomes darker and darker. shuniji also kinda sounds like subnautica music.

I recently joined a Minecraft world with at least five different biomes. It has a mesa, two deserts, grasslands, and icy places (but very small). Smack dab in the middle of the map was a pretty big chunk of exposed ocean, so I decided to live in the middle of the map. This was the first time I had ever created a house in the ocean, and I'm even making a little place underwater for two axolotl's I found in a cave. But it was also the first time I heard ocean music. Besides the fact that I kept getting attacked by the drowned, it was very relaxing. I've only ever heard "Axolotyl", and it's very beautiful. Probably even my favorite one. It just makes me want to stop what I'm doing, and just look out at the ocean. I can't describe the feeling besides it being über relaxing. I've always found Minecraft music pretty, but dang. I was moved. XD

I dont play minecraft with sound usually. I'm usually listening to a podcast or music in the background. I also took a massive break from the game and while I knew about the update aquatic I had no clue about the music. I was playing on a now lost longtime world of mine on the beta recently, and decided I wanted moss blocks and knew you could get them from ship wrecks. I dug out my old ocean temple armor and went searching. Less than a minute into my journey my phone died, cutting off whatever I was listening to. I then just decided to turn up the game volume and vine with the games music because I had grown really fond of it. Imagine my surprise when Shuniji came on while I was at the nearby reef

My review of the songs: Axolotl feels as if you've just descended into the vast sea to go visit a shipwreck. As you go closer to the Earth's sweating core, you realize the colorful coral reef below your feet. The sea pickles illuminate the coral as the fish swim gleefully across the reef. You become relaxed and at peace as you step foot on the squishy coral, and look around. It's full of vibrant and opaque colors with the background of a vast, blue ocean awaiting exploration. Dragon Fish feels as once you swim into the blue sea, you discover what lurks down below. You find caves and ravines, hills and structures. You realize that the ocean isn't just water and sand, but truly something fascinating. You obtain some treasures, including a bucket of axolotl, two diamonds, and some tropical fish. As you look around, you're surrounded by seagrass and cod. Shuniji feels as once you ascend back up from the water, you're completely soaked like a sponge. As you wring out the water of your clothes, you reflect on your experience. Discovering the wonders of the ocean really was fun and fascinating, and obtaining certain items was fun. After you're at least a little dry, you walk off, with sand sticking to your feet.

I remember just earlier this year I was so depressed... COVID-19 hit and isolated all of us, the only way I could stay connected with people was through video games like Minecraft, or destiny 2. School was all online and I had hours of edgenuity work... I could barely stand it, but every evening when I got a chance, I would hop on and play games. I remember I wanted to get back into Minecraft and create a world for me and my friends/family to join and we can work on over the long quarantined year. I named the world, “quarantine survival.” I remember loading in and doing the normal routine of cutting the trees down and mining coal. We eventually found a nice flat grassland next to a ocean and created our first houses. As the sun set, this music kicked in... it first brought a smile to my face because it was new, but as the music continued... it made me Cry... tears of happiness rolled down my face because of the deep sense of nostalgia the music let’s off. I remembered all the memories I had with this game in the past and now the memories I’m gonna make now with my cousins and friends. We might not have been able to see each other in person but damn did this game, the music, help me get through the year. I remember pausing what I was doing, I stopped building and muted my mic. I turned my character to the sunset and and watched and cried of happiness, even if it meant a creeper almost blew my house up, I enjoyed every bit of this soundtrack. Thanks C418 for making such beautiful music. And thanks Mojang, for Minecraft! I would have been in a darker place if it wasn’t for this game. I go back every once and a while to look at all the things we did in the world, hours put into it. It makes me smile.

The first time I heard all of these songs was something I'll never forget. Me and my friends had a world we played on during the first lockdown in 2020. The world spawn was on the beach of a huge patch of mainland and we all went off to the various different islands around the main continent to build our own stuff. We never advanced far enough to get any elytra or create proper nether infrastructure so all travelling between the islands was done by swimming or boat. That meant a long time in the oceans, sometimes 10-15 minutes at a time. I remember sailing to an island that my friend was building on to check out his base and hearing Dragon Fish for the first time. It was night and there was nothing but water as far as I could see. I had a similar experience with Shuniji, where I was sailing back home from my island, the furthest one out. That world was coming to an end as people were losing interest by then. Hearing that as I was crossing the ocean at night felt like it reflected the feel of the world at that point perfectly. It was both beautiful and sad. I'm pretty sure the first time I heard axolotl was on the first world I beat the ender dragon on. That feeling of triumph as the piano kicked in as I walked through the stronghold (the stronghold was underwater) with the dragon egg in my hand. Unforgettable minecraft memories.

I've been trying to look for Axolotl because the first time I heard it in Minecraft I was blown away. It sounded like something that would be in like a Disney movie where mc is running after another person and bumping into things or people in tye process. They're trying to catch the person that they've been looking for their entire life, but they keep running into obstacles and the person keeps getting farther away. But the mc won't stop trying because they are determined to find this person that was so special or close to them. And in the end the mc grabs the person's hand and asks them why they keep running just "Please stay with me...... I love you...." (Or something like that) and the person after hearing the mc tell them how important they are to them, they decide to stay and it's a happy ending with them hugging. :)

the feeling of hearing dragon fish while exploring the depths of the ocean with your friends is a different feeling of peace and happiness. the aquatic update was hands down one of the best updates on minecraft bringing a new world to the ocean and an even better time for minecraft’s music. lena raine has great music for the future updates that minecraft will bring but you cant top c418, the true artist for minecraft’s music

The last music was the reason why I always built a whole ass house inside the ocean monument. My friends never realized my passion towards that area but that song made it for me.

I remember when me with the homie on 1 am upgrading our ocean monument, at the time, i dont know that underwater soundtrack exists, and as i plug my headset in, and dive deep to the sea, and then, this soundtracks came in, and holy shit how much chills it brings to me, my family are sleeping except me, we're in discord vc talking as we built the ocean monument, it's- it's just so Peaceful. God I wish I've taken the screenshot of the drained Ocean Monument, it was built on an server, and they're now resetting the whole server and planning on Season 2.

I was playing Minecraft with a couple of friends, and I was swimming underwater to look for stuff. I was above a ravine, near a coral reef, and all of a sudden the music started to play, and I was overwhelmed with it. I kept swimming, listening to the music and calling out to my friends that there’s underwater music now with the update, and apparently they didn’t know that either. Axolotl was the first underwater song I heard.
