I’ve gotten to meet Ted 3 different times in my life. Once as a kid, once as a teen, and once as an adult. All 3 times he was super classy and polite. Love his guitar playing and the fact that he is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is an absolute joke.

Somehow I talked my mom into getting me Double Live Gonzo when it first came out. I was eleven and absolutely blown away. That being said, I tried to keep up with Nugent post-Gonzo, but I found less and less to grab onto. Just like Pete said, between the juvenile lyrics and the weakly produced 80s albums, he lost me. Are there scattered songs here and there that are worth a listen? Of course. But for me, 75-79 Nugent is all I need to listen to.

I grew up with Ted's music & love his playing as a guitarist, but if you have the first three albums in my order of favorites, "Free For All," "Ted Nugent," & "Cat Scratch Fever," you have all the Ted you'll ever need, though I have to admit, "Craveman" kicked, but honestly, I'd be hard pressed to remember most of the songs on that album unless I listening to it.
