Never listen to chat when facts are needed.These new brits have the same fuse as conqueror at 0.015 s and conqueror has zero problems with most ships that have spaced armor. In this case the shells just went too high. The aiming system in this game at times is somewhat black magic to me, but from personal experience I find I have to aim as low as possible at these close ranges, especially at american ships from T8 up, if I want my citadels. In cyclones however finding the actual waterline is quite difficult.

I have played the new brits as much as I can and Rooke is the highlight so far, although Tiger is huge fun. They are cruiser bullys. That NC should have aimed at your nose 16 inch will overmatch it.

Tiger feels nice to play, Poseidon help you if you get shot at by something with 16 inch guns though, Renown though, I don't know the hell they were thinking with that ship but good god they have fucked her up, no reason to ever take her out over Repulse, worse guns, seems to take more damage even though she has better belt armour, slower, no 1/4 HE pen to deal with those T5 cruisers that the AP just over pens and the torps break at the slightest hint of an HE shell hit.

Nope, you have the shells that come with the ship, there is no way to change. However which fuse timer is the better one is highly debatable. WoWs Chat is always full of people knowing nothing about the actual mechanics, so myths are rampant. In my opinion the shorter fuse in british bbs is more of an advantage than disadvantage, as there are only a few select ships that you will have problems citadeling because of the fuse timer. In all other cases the shorter fuse will make cits more likely and overpens much, much less likely.

@@BruderRaziel my point really, was if a certain shell type was available for some 15" guns, then it should be an option for all vessels with 15" guns. Its just WoW fuckwittery frankly. Could even have a switch on the control panel like the AA on/off.

the fact that bots get these ships before you (assuming you don't pay wows) is the thing i hate most about this line

What I hate is when part of your team is BOTS (NA server) and matchmaking puts two SUB bots on your team versus the two opponent player SUBS instead of splitting up the two SUBS . . . What kind of sense does that make?! Just got the Rooke, need to see some play. Her firing angles are pretty spicy, but the turret traverse makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

this ship is completely trash in my mind. 16 mm nose armor even is flatter than dd's armor.

Renown is bad. Guns hit softer than its armour

I beg to differ, I had 16 games (currently) on it, used AP most of the time and still got 70k+ avg dmg. She was supposedly less accurate than Repulse but it didn't feel that way tbh.
