Search Continues For Karen Adams With Police Escort | (15-Year-Old FBI Case) In this video we set off on our second day in search for Karen Adams, missing out of Steubenville, Ohio after leaving a casino never to be heard from again. FBI and Police are on the case and have not found any new leads during our search efforts. Today we are escorted by the police while we continue our search efforts to hopefully bring Karen back home to her loved ones.
According to the FBI, Adams went missing on the evening of March 11, 2007, while she was on her way home from the Mountaineer Casino and Racetrack in Hancock County, W.Va. Evidence led investigators to believe Adams had gone to the casino that night to play bingo. Witnesses also confirmed seeing her leave the bingo area of the resort around 11 p.m. to head toward the gaming area of the casino.
Surveillance video shows Adams leaving the casino around 3 a.m. March 12, departing the area in a red, four-door 2005 Suzuki Forenza sedan with the Pennsylvania license plate "ETD5587."
After appearing on this surveillance camera, Adams was never seen or heard from again. Investigators were quick to begin their search after she disappeared, but initial investigations found very little evidence as to where she may have gone.
"At that time, it was sort of a concentration from the West Virginia area where she was located at the casino to a common path of travel back to her residence in Independence Township, Beaver County," Sedlacek said.
According to investigators, no charges have been made to Adams' credit cards and no calls have been made from her cellphone since her disappearance in 2007. She was not married when she went missing, but investigators noted that she did have a dog at home that she was not likely to leave behind.
Her car also remains missing, with no vehicles ever identified as Adam's missing red sedan. While some vehicles have been found in bodies of water along Adam's potential path home from the Mountaineer Casino, none of those recovered cars have been identified as hers.
Sedlacek said that potential leads have appeared across the internet and investigative networks over the years, but very few of these leads add any credible information about where Adam's ended up.
"Some of the current leads that we have followed have led nowhere," Sedlacek said. "There was an indication of an individual that was incarcerated at a different state penitentiary that had disclosed a lot of criminal activities, which somebody thought may have been involved with Karen Adams."
DNA testing has also been applied to unidentified bodies across the area, but no results have positively matched Adams as of now. Detectives have investigated potential information from social media during this process as well, but many of these tips have not been credible once investigations began.
"If the public could shed light on any other information that they may have, suspect to have or at that time knew something and didn't report it, maybe they'd like to speak about it now," Sedlacek said. "It's been so many years, the family still would like to have closure and would still like to know what happened." #coldcase #fbi #scubadiving

My ground search team spent every weekend for two 1/2 years searching for a woman in our community. Never feel bad for not locating your victim. Our victim was finally located by mushroom hunters, about a half mile from where our search grid had stopped. At the end of the day, her family still got her back, which is all they had ever asked for. They tell us that seeing how much the community cared about their lost loved one also helped them to heal. There are far too many of these cases & because I’m a homebody I just can’t understand how these people disappear. I never do anything adventurous 🙃. Seriously… I drive 7/10 of a mile to and from work 6 days a week. And unless I go to Walmart 3 miles away I’m within 7/10 of a mile to my home. There’s no bodies of water anywhere close to where I go. I have this deep fear of water, can’t swim at all. I panic watching y’all dive. I guess if everyone were like me this world would be a boring place. I prefer to call it being content. I’m just content to be home. I love watching y’all. You’re special people!! ❤

I’ve been wondering about something.. maybe you can answer.? Don’t children in the US have obligatory swimming lessons in school? It’s so scary and sad that people can’t swim. It’s such a basic and simple life skill, that can save so many lives. It’s heartbreaking if you don’t have that over there😔

@@malina1239 I’m originally from Indiana and swimming classes were mandatory at the high school level. But it really didn’t count as a grade. I didn’t take those lessons and wouldn’t have no matter what. I don’t like water and don’t feel you should be forced into taking a class that has zero to do with a career you choose. I didn’t need to swim to be a nurse. Swim lessons should be a choice in school.

@@malina1239 WE have swimming in school for PE and that was about it. There was swimming a a sport if you wanted to. Some can swim good others not. You got to remember that if this they choice way to leave this world then they will not try to swim. It's probably one of the most failsafe ways to end one's life. You can use a bullet but quite a few of them miss and still live same with knifes. If it is a accident, then you only have a few minutes to get things around before you are stuck that is even if you are able to do anything.

In Australia it's imperative everyone learn to swim. It begins in the first years of school but many parents begin while children are toddlers. We're never far from water in Oz unless of course you're in the outback, but then they have billabongs and lagoons.

Thanks to all of you for not giving up. I grew up across the river from Mountaineer Casino in East Liverpool Ohio. The river is very dangerous. I lost friends swimming from the Ohio shore to Babbs Island and the current took them under. Your help is so much appreciated ❤️ I had to smile about the 8 pound bass. What a great idea to use a go pro attached to a cord or small rope to drop on a potential target prior to diving when in a lake or other body of water where there is some visibility. It would reduce diving time on null targets.

That big bass would have been a delicious dinner, with small new potatoes, cucumber salad( very thinly sliced cucumber with a little bit of water and white vinegar( 50/50) and little bit of sugar mixed in ,as the dressing ) and served with lots of sour cream and I love to add white pepper to mine. We boil the bass or salmon filets in salty water with lots of whole pepper and a sliced onion until just tender and flaky. You can also salt and pepper the filets and gently fry them in real good butter. You neeed to try this recipe 😁 😁 It’s a summer staple here in Norway . Its actually our official national summer dish ! Served with halved fresh strawberries with half and half poured over and a drizzle of sugar, for dessert!

The color of the GoPro object was red. Her car is red. I’d go back & dive it and get eyes on it. I could say I thought it was a cars shape with at least one wheel showing. Britton just proven, what I've been saying all along. if you're going to drop a magnet down that's attached to the rope it's always best for them alone to watch the Garmin for themselves!! This way it's easier for the person using the magnet for the location to see exactly where and when he should connect. Instead of the driver watching the Garmin and telling him went to drop it does not always work the first time, they have to keep retrying . Let the person that sitting in the front have access to the Garmin and a sonar hummingbird to also show and share with their members and their subscribed members to all feel we are all one Team in this search !!!

On Google maps under satellite there three places that she could have gone to after the casino. There is one area near the train tracks that is a small area of water two areas of water near deltech resins company and that is the three areas are at
