After spending the last 20 odd years in chronic pain I feel for this man so much. I absolutely understand why he chose to go. Even with all the family and friends in the world that love you. Sometimes you just want it to stop. For a minute or even better an hour. RIP Charles! Thank you for your service. Love and prayers to all from 🇬🇧

I deal with debilitating pain and exhaustion as well. Chronic pain patients really need more support for treatment and medications. A lot of therapies that can be helpful aren't covered by insurance. There are therapies that have helped me a bit in the past that I can't afford out of pocket. A lot of medications (while imperfect tools) are being taken away from pain patients forcing them to endure excruciating pain. Kratom dulls my pain some and I can't imagine my life without it. It keeps getting threatened legally. Until there are better, affordable and accessible treatments what works for individual pain patients needs to be protected.

@@carolnewsome7741 why wouldn't she? Scammers prey upon those who are most vulnerable. Probably the most profitable tool for a scammer is the obituaries. They love to pounce upon widows and widowers. The older the better. Seeing a missing person news story is like gold to them. Any opportunity to exploit a family when they're most vulnerable is their MO. Do you realize this woman probably had at least a dozen "psychics" tell her they could find her missing relative? They're all full of shit and prey upon people when they're down, in pain, and above all, DESPERATE.

@@carolnewsome7741 I got a scam call that claimed to be for some unnamed charity for police officers; I knew it was a scam because the automatic recording did not respond in a human way to my answer of 'uhhh' to the question 'am I speaking to the head of the household'. There are scammers that use peoples' good intentions to take money. People have reasons to be skeptical. Older folks have been targeted for so long that many communities have begun awareness programs for seniors. In Florida, such a program is far more likely with how many people move there for retirement.

Men also are much higher risk of committing suicide than women. This man lived with all those factors. Condolences to the family. In life he appeared to be happy but underneath i could sense his everlasting pain. He passed 3 years ago due to cancer from agent orange. It was horrible to watch this take over his body and mind. However he delt with every minute of it with a smile on his face. I wish that all vets were able to find happiness and peace and not take their own lives. My father is a detective of 40 years and when I saw this episode it’s one of the few times I’ve been able to say “now there’s a real detective”. I think often police unfortunately get their pride tied into matters like these and are too closed minded that’s why the cases don’t get solved. When you have a gentleman like this who is willing to explore every lead you simply get results. Good job as usual fella’s! Love ❤️ from Edmonton, Alberta Canada! Not all hero’s wear capes

The quality of this case was above and beyond the previous ones. I remember the evolution of the production from every case to case, and this was quite nice. I was a little disappointed by the production quality of Chaos Divers' video, but that is mostly just due to the fact that AWP has gone a long way in the production value compared to the relative "smallness" of chaos divers. We all have to start somewhere and situations like this probably sling shot smaller channels miles ahead to get to the next level. Great work all around from AWP, Chaos Divers, and definitely the law enforcement involved with this case.

I think whichever lady said that they were “a scam” owes them a very very sincere apology. The audacity of some people these days and sometimes unfathomable… Edit: I am now headed over to chaos divers channel to watch the final part. Thank you guys for all you do, I will be definitely buying some merch to help support you all. 🙏

I think that they probably had just gotten their hopes up only to have them dashed so many times before that they were afraid to hope again. What they were going through is very painful and takes a lot out of you

Somehow I missed the person calling them a scam... I must have been talking when it happened. What part of the video was that?
@realburglazofficial2613
@realburglazofficial2613 2 жыл бұрын
There has been a few people leave this organisation because it was more about the video than the recovery. People would be told their loved one was found in the car and then they would be followed around with cameras, it felt kind of ‘exploitative’. Families were grieving but ‘The Jared Show’ took over. But the fact is, they have the gear, they have the expertise, they have the time, they get results. If they have to make a movie about it every time, so be it. I might not agree with how they go about things, but if thats how they can afford to travel, dive and maintain their kit to bring closure to families of missing people? Then it is how it is.

@@realburglazofficial2613 They always have the utmost respect for the family and will not put anyone in front of a camera who does not want to be. As far as filming the search and rescue part, they never show the bodies or anything sensational. I agree with you that the filming is what gets the money in and helps AWP get the resources they need to keep finding people. So many of us would never have even heard of them had it not been for the KZbin videos. I know there’s been some interpersonal drama, but I don’t know the whole story behind all that. Anytime you’ve got more than one person working on something, you’re gonna have conflicts. I am really proud of how much work AWP has done and how much closure they’ve brought to brokenhearted families.

Good job though on helping to find another missing person that has been found. No matter who found him first it was amazing to see guys collaborate with chaos divers. The more volunteers, especially the more volunteers with the proper equipment like all of you guys do the better.

My dad is a WWII vet. He’ll be 98 sept 19th this year. He was awarded the Purple Heart. It’s very hard getting help for war vets. It was only 2 years ago he was diagnosed with PTSD and dementia. It’s a shame really after serving your country in a war and coming home with shrapnel throughout your entire body. He’s lived in pain his entire life. My heart goes out to all vets. Thank you guys for such diligence and care you have put into this case. If not for you… then nobody. It breaks my heart!

My late husband did the same poasible thing. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and he immaculately tied up all his estate making sure that he set up investments, insurances trusts and pensions for myself and his son and then he committed suicide. At his autopsy the authorities found that the cancer had spread to his brain. It was tough for us but his behavior before this incident had all the warning signs. He had frequent violent outbursts and His friends and I tried to get him to counseling but he went against us and isolated himself from us so that he could carefully and methodically carry out his plan. He hid his financial plans so well that we didn't even know about them until his death. He waited until both of his parents had died and then he took his life. What he did was a shock to his siblings who had no idea that he could do such a thing. He deliberately made sure that he acted differently to them and us. He even went on line to get information on how to hang yourself with the quickest possible way to kill yourself before doing so. His one brother was so traumatized by this event that he went into a serious depression until he himself died and blamed me for the death of his brother. I couldn't even talk to him without him bursting into a rage and drowning his sorrows by getting drunk. If you wish to take your life first seek counseling. Get help. You do not have the right to do this to your loved ones. One thing you dont realise is that the authorities on finding a suicide victim interrogate all people close to the victim. They first investigate the case as a possible homicide. All of my husbands friends, family which included his 10 year old son and even his colleagues were interviewed at length. This was despite the fact that he not only left a suicide note to his family but he left instructions with top class lawyers as to what they should do in the case of him committing suicide. Very sad but it does happen.
