Great to see another family starting out As others have commented already I got seasick without even leaving my sofa! Lesson learned I guess not to give the camera to kids until they have mastered the art even though they desperately want to grab it ! Happy sailing Nick

Hey, love that you guys are trying to tackle this new adventure! I'm planning on doing this same thing once I'm fully retired and my kids are a little older. One thing I would invest in is a proper camera set up if you guys plan on continuing to vlog in the future. The audio and camera angles in this video were hard to watch but I enjoy watching new families tackle this new adventure. Hope you guys continue this journey and good luck!

Thank you for the feedback. We agree! This footage was captured on a GoPro hero 5 by our 10yr old son. I accidentally found it and put it together to share the boat shopping experience. We now have better mics but this is all new for us so please be patient. I’m doing everything I can to learn better video capture and editing!

@@SailingParadiseFalls trust me I've been there when I first started making videos with my son and we were doing car videos. Audio is key especially when you're recording on the boat. Gimbles work really well even with a gopro and keep the feedback and transitions at a minimum. Whenever I go diving or underwater I use a voice over and it's a little more fluid. You guys are new so just record everything then edit at end, you'll cut a lot out but you won't know what is good unless you start recording everything. I said so many times uhgggg I shouldve recorded that lol. Can't wait to see your adventure.

I appreciate your wisdom! Yes, if your not used to Filipino or filming yourself it takes some getting used too. We are currently in Tortola, hopefully, leaving the Moorings dock in the next day so after these videos I will be able to fully concentrate more on making better content. We have the mics and humble but just not used to getting it all setup. Right now, I’m just capturing what I can to tell document our story. I appreciate you - Tks!
