I don't know how to really word it, but Lum's games have this sort of surreal, melancholy feel to them, especially at the endings. And I think I remember seeing Daniel in an extra ending of Paranoihell, so...

It's crazy since I read about lots of cases with missing kids in the US in the 80/90s....and when some of them were found it was only their remains or belongings....I was a kid in the 90s and can relate to this(about daniel's age in 1991 but I was 7 years old)...sometimes I would stray from the usual path home after school and even if it was daylight some places had no people at all walking by...and back then no cellphones or GPS so it was really easy to get kidnapped by some crazy guy and end up on the missing kids list.... unfortunately daniel was one of those...

I prefer ABG's gameplay footage over ManlyBadassHero's because ABG doesn't dick around while playing like Manly does, he just continues the story. He's not frustrating to watch and I would also like to mention that I appreciate that he plays in silence. You wouldn't believe how much I cringe when Manly insists on reading all on-screen texts and butchers very simple words.

Wow, holy shit. I hope Daniel can be rescued, cuz that ending is so depressing (Since Daniel is still a young child). Really can't wait for the full release of this game.

Looks really cool, excited for the full release! One thing I was really curious about is what would happen during the initial tag sequence if the player stops following Blair and goes to talk to the figures/cop in the trees. Or if you go inside that one shed looking area? I don't think the exploring would yield much, game wanted you to follow, but I'm wondering if the figures would attack, or if the cop has a special line,

Edit: nvm actually read the game's description on the site. Very excited, SP was already a chilling and interesting clocktower-like and i can't wait to see all the new content!

The original was released a while ago, but this is the prologue for the Director's Cut, which will contain has a lot of new content, including a new area to explore and 2 new endings.
