I've been playing as search and rescue for a while now and it's always rewarding helping players out. Sometimes they can be really oblivious and keep running away when you're trying to heal them or trying to drop down a rope to pull them up, but it's all worth it for the thanks and gratitude from players who might be otherwise having to restart all the way from the beginning. I don't know how many players I've helped get to the end or the amount of runs that I've saved, but I'm glad to have helped them!

@@souzaxiszbut when you spawn helicopter you can’t turn back into explorer you have to delete the helicopter if you delete it you will return to basecamp

For strategy - being stationed at Camp 2 places you roughly in the middle of the entire map, which can make it easier to get to everyone relatively quick. I tend to prioritize those further toward the south pole as I know how rough it can be to have to start over after making it so far, and also because that region can be pretty difficult to navigate. If players are requesting SOS like right at base camp, I just tend to ignore those unless there's nobody else requesting and I'll just tell them to only use it if it's an actual emergency. If there's multiple, I try to see if I can group them together and go in a straight line if possible. Regarding the rope - it's a really tricky thing to master. You want to be close to the edge, but not too close so that once you pull the player up, they risk falling back down. You want the rope to touch the ground in front of you a little bit and once there's a bit more slack it'll slide down to where it needs to be. I would say a stud or 2 would be best. Also, players tend to appreciate it if you give them some advice on some particularly difficult parts, like the windy obby just right after Camp 1. Doing a little demonstration if you can is super helpful and they'll be very appreciative of that.

I asked about 10 people in game if they thought it was worth it: One said yes, another two said it just depends on if you want to help or not, around 4 said not really for the price, and the rest were all AFK. Do people still play Expedition Antarctica that much anymore? Sorry this comment is so long, I'm really curious.

Just quick things, when healing its best not to click again and again because that wastes all your bandages. Just click one and you should be OK as long as the person youre saving doesnt move out of range! Happy saving!

The gamepass is pretty worth it if you want to roleplay. Note: The helicopter does not do much. You can only drive it alone and it has no rope.

How many seater is helicopter?

The helicopter has a total of 3 seats, 1 for the pilot and 2 for passengers. However, only S&R are allowed to be passengers on that helicopter.

The count will only apply if you're in the explorer or guide role. If you're in the S&R role and on patrol mode (using a helicopter), it won't be counted. So, when you switch your role to explorer, you'll respawn back to the base camp or your last check point when you are in explorer/guide role.

Hello! You can still proceed to the South Pole, then take a plane that will bring you back to the Base Camp. Fyi if your life runs out, you will automatically teleport back to the Base Camp. Edited Oh wait, I just realized this is Search and Rescue (S&R) vid, you can just reset or use your helicopter to go back to base camp
