Oh my, FINALLY! I has my own custom SearchDelegate, but is not good in Apple devices. Now I see that the TextFormField is more visible. Thanks.

I highly recommend for search functionalities that aren't too complicated. A custom search bar is always better for customising searches and gives the option of having your own designs.

I tried this one just two days ago, but I switched back to a nornal TextField after a bit, anyway... I needed an icon on the /right/, not the \left\, which isn't supported...

I happened to have used these widgets the past few days (imaginey surprise when this video popped up in my feed!). I have to say the biggest point of confusion for me stems from the naming. It took me time to figure out that i should just use SearchBar directly rather than via SearchAnchor since i don't want suggestions. The "anchor" name really threw me as it's more like SearchSuggestions.
