Nice! Good production too, and thanks for keeping the language (relatively!) clean. Did you use a sea anchor at all to slow the drift, because at one stage it looked like your drift was fairly fast, or was that just because you edited some of it out?
@AdriftFishing2 жыл бұрын
It was a reasonable speed drift maybe 1.2-1.5km maybe from memory. No chute. If it’s too much I use the electric. My vids are “mostly” clean. Might have to cut a few excited bits out here and there 😂

Great catch! The flatty should be spawning right now, so you probably hooked up to a big lady and her male suitor. Used to love the drifting for flatty. Well done

Thanks mate, I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what happened

Hey mate how do u drift with soft plastics? Iv never done it personally and iv just cast but some days not having much luck! Drifting might be the go
@AdriftFishing Жыл бұрын
You can either cast up drift or down drift, just use jig heads to keep the jig near the bottom and drift and hop the lures through sand patches. Jigging can cover a lot of ground. Just use weeless jigs to avid snags
