Searching For Treasure At Old Stagecoach Site! We Find Silver Coins Without A Metal Detector too!

In this metal detecting video I go back to the old hill that you seen a few videos back, I find more old coins and some silver as well. Next Mike & I go to an old permission to finish up metal detecting the back yard. We find lots of old coins and relics, some of the silver coins were washed up and on surface!

I don't know about where your at, but most of the stage stations in Kansas and Colorado territory all had military stationed at them for protection from Indians. The military camped near but away from the stage station.

Rubbing coins clean scratches them microscopically and decreases their value dramatically. Im sure you know. Use a small aluminum spray bottle in the field to check dates and identify. You can spray Mike down too when he's overheating lol

I noticed a few of the finds got really scratched up. My guess is you are wiping them with fingers and thumb. That should stop. Clean them properly please. Take care o the relics better and respect that old stuff.
