In this video we explore the best places to launch for a SUP (Stand Up Pdddle) across Somers and surrounding areas, including the Somers Yacht Club, The Westernport Yacht Club and the Otama Submarine Lookout.
Launch Location Location:
We begin at Somers Foreshore Reserve, approximately 85km and around 1 hour and ten minutes from Melbourne CBD. Its an easy drive along mostly freeways. (M1 and M11). We then move on to Balnarring (Westernport Yacht Club) and Crib Point (Otama Lookout Track).

The Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation is a Registered Aboriginal Party and incorporated association representing the descendants of the Boon Wurrung Aboriginal people. The Land Council covers the former Boon Wurrung traditional lands along the eastern side of Port Phillip nay, including Mornington Peninsula, Western Port and South Gippsland. The Bunurong Land Council provides cultural heritage and environmental land management advice and is the approval body for Cultural Heritage Management Plans. For more information see:
