Good job, just one suggestion…fins can be pointed toward the front. This way if the straps loosen, the fins will get hung up in the strap, giving you time to stop and reset. With fins pointing toward the back, there will be nothing to keep board from sliding out completely. Thanks for the great video.

Why?! 🤔 When you could have purchased a purpose built 12v 20 PSI SUP inflator from "Outdoormaster Cachalot" for $89 or an OEM unbranded 12v SUP pump $49, all inflating your SUP's in only 8 to 12 minutes from a vehicle cigsrette lighter. No rube goldberg necessary...🧰 The unbranded portable battery units are not that much more than what you paid in total. Regardless I have found there is not that much of an advantage inflating at the at the waterside with a battery unit as compared to a corded unit, since you have to lug the inflation unit and bags back to the car anyway. Paddle boards average weight is only between 16-18 Ibs 🏋🏼, leave the bags in yhe car to begin with save a step. These units are readily available direct frim their nanufacturers, eBay or Amazon all Capable of filling 2+ boards sequentially, without overheating and an Auto stop fearure. Ay yhe desired oressure 🎈 The "Outdoormaster Whale" fillis 5 boards on a single 4 hour battery unit battery charge at home, albeit more expensive.💰 Instead of wasting monies on that Frankenstein RYOBI mess... actually do some research as this setup is not decigned for that purpose 🚫🏄🏼 your tire/Matress inflator will experience a short life...⚰️ DYI equals triple the cost, time and effort as you will have to do it right down the road anyway 🤤

Appreciate your suggestions, we do plan to buy another pump down the track. For now we start with the Ryobi and finish by hand. All up done in less than 10 minutes ☺️

My biggest worry of traveling with iSup in the roof is heat of the sun loosening the glue that holds together parts of the board. I guess that inflating them to a low pressure helps too.
@supingabout718211 ай бұрын
Yes totally understand. We try not to leave them on the roof for more than necessary to get to where we are going. If we are delayed (for a coffee or breakfast!) We either deflate slightly or completely. We also park in the shade :)

Hi there. Could you please advise the walking distance from the car park to the canoe launch point?
@supingabout7182 Жыл бұрын
At Devil's bend it is a fair way, so it's a long carry. At Mother's beach it depends where you park. We got a good close position so it was a quick two minute walk to launch.

I would rather use my pump. That’s a joke .. pumping up my board with a duel chamber pump is about ten min .
@SuicidaI_Tendencies2 жыл бұрын
You are suppose to pump it first with the High Volume Hose because that will pump for Volume of air, once the board is inflated and not flatten out, then you take the Pressure (smaller) Hose and attached the schrader valve onto your SUP Board Halkey-Roberts Valve then you can inflate it to 10-15 PSI from there on! It should of inflated each SUP Board within less than 10 minutes to 12 PSI.

What was battery level after inflating it from a fully charged battery, also what about deflating the board? How long , did it take and how much batter did it consume. The missing mattress adapter, does that fit all camp beds and inflatable toys?
@supingabout71822 жыл бұрын
I believe the adapter that comes with it will do those, but if you need any special adapters they are usually easily found online. I bought an adapter online to use for the SUP.

It's great to do a beginner lesson if you can as it will help build confidence, but there are lots of beginner videos out there to watch too. So, yes you can learn by yourself but there are some key things it's good to know, so at least one lesson is the way to go. Good luck! It's great fun and such a good workout for your core muscles.

Just bought myself a 12'+ Paddleboard and after manually inflating it for the first time; I jumped right in to the tube to look for a way to do it easier and/or faster. @scottmartin98312 жыл бұрын
Hi, are the inflatables ok to be attached on the roof racks? Especially on the highways thanks
@supingabout71822 жыл бұрын
We haven't had any issues Scott. We always do a 'push' test to make sure there's no movement side to side or back to front. We are generally not traveling more than 30-40 minutes, nor travelling much at high speed. For longer trips and higher speeds we deflate the boards and pump them up when we get there.
@shane0yourgod2 жыл бұрын
Was that damaged or is it that slow?
@supingabout71822 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid it was that slow. The low pressure is fast, but the high pressure is slower. Great for bike tyres and soccer balls, but not perhaps for very large paddle boards like this one.
@hthring2 жыл бұрын
we bought the smaller model, and were considering switching to this one, but seems its just as slow on hp in such a big board
@brentedwards26683 жыл бұрын
Why couldn't you just blow the whole thing up with the high pressure?
@supingabout71823 жыл бұрын
The low pressure works really well to get it to a certain point quickly and the high pressure finishes the job. The high pressure is much, much slower. It would be like using the tyre inflator at the gas station to pump it up. I tried that and the high pressure there is intermittent, so it takes forever!
@ryanagnew87612 жыл бұрын
Not sure about this particular pump, put generally a high pressure pump, is low volume, and vice versa

I've used KanduLocks for years. They're not 100% safe from theft, but a deterrent at best. I see a major flaw in securing your particular paddleboard. It's inflatable. A thief can simply remove some air and slide the board off the roof with little effort.

Great point! Thank you for the feedback. We will keep this in mind and park where we will hear the noise if someone does try to deflate!
