You know I suspect some of the musket and pistol balls that mudlarkers find are just fishing weights. They're known as 'drilled bullets' and until fairly recently were made of lead and the hole drilled through them closes up very easily, I have loads that I can no longer find the original hole and have to drill a new one.
@Sifinds2 жыл бұрын
I would tend to agree with you… but none had holes at all. They could equally be shrapnel balls, but the Minnie bullets came just after musket balls so I believe they were those. Cheers 👍🏻🐾🧡
