Sears Burbank : Back From The Dead | A to Z Retail

Just less than a year after shutting down. Sears at Burbank Town Center has been reopened. Let’s see what the reimagined Sears is like.

First thoughts entering the store: Looks like a slightly more modern version of the skeleton that is Sears. EDIT: Final Thoughts - The same. Maybe a few more security cameras and flat screens. But missing at least some of the departments that once made Sears great.

Not a customer or employee in sight. If I had to make a guess, it would be the lease stipulates they could not close the store before a specified future date and they were ordered to reopen by a court.

Burbank??? Who is going to shop there? The homeless with coupons?? Everyone out there is rich. CA drove out the middle class customers who would have shopped here. See customers??

Don't overexaggerate. Burbank isn't a city for the wealthy. It's as middle class as they come.
