So many cozy bathrobes. I was 14.

I was 11 in 1974. Some of these things were in our home. Family/friends/neighbours also had them.

I was 1 in 74. I got that exact Winnie the Pooh bear for Christmas that year from my grandma. Bittersweet nostalgia.

Thank you for sharing. I like all the pictures. I use to love looking at my mom's catalogs when I was a kid. You brought me back to some great memories!

That record player on page 380 at around 18:43, the white one at the top of the page, I'm pretty sure I had that or one very similar to that. I remember the speakers fitting into the stand. Definitely had the Rub a Dub Dolly, the Snoopy electric toothbrush and the Easy Bake Oven.

LOL thanks for reminding me how much of the book was dedicated to stupid clothes when all I wanted to get to were the toys!

Oh, my god, I recognize so many of these things: horrible, horrible clothing, an NHL table hockey set, and my Malibu Barbie and Ken! And GiJoe. I yoinked him from my brother to be dressed up in my dad's handkerchiefs to be a sheik.

I love 70s clothes. Clothes were beautiful and well made. I loved the long dresses and skirts.

I would have flipped through this catalogue but I thought the candy and boxes of apples (which we would have shipped to relatives in Britain) were at the front rather than in the middle along with the items for $5, $10, etc. Also I thought it was still Simpson-Sears in 1974.

This is the American Sears catalog. The Canadian version may have been slightly different.
@jujube806717 күн бұрын
@@joannekempf3350 It does say Canadian at the beginning. Perhaps that was an error. 🎄

Czechoslovakian corduroy. So the entire school can hear you walking down the hall. 😅
