Sears Craftsman FF20 Garden Tractor: First start and drive

We finally got this beast running after fixing a stuck intake valve (it did run before, but on one cylinder). This is the first start and drive after the repair. It still needs some work, the carb needs to be choked constantly at full throttle, and the cylinder that had the stuck valve smokes like crazy. All in all, its an awesome tractor.

Give it a carb job and let that oil burn out of the cylinder and you should be good! That thing is a beast!

I figured the carb needs attention, doesnt run too bad for something thats been sitting for a couple years though

It might still have points, these enegines have them located in a box next to the carburetor.

No, you can't do that on this tractor either. This one uses a drive shaft from the engine to the transmission.

@chromlic That was the problem, the breather was missing, the tractor sat outside, and water dripped right onto the valve stem.
