my bolt bins have saved me hundreds of trips . even the little plastic ones w/clear drawers that don't hold larger than 1/4 inch have been lifesavers . there's a thing called sorta neat that has several red canisters and a sorting tray that dumps back into canister when you're done . easy to make your own , and saves a lot of time/aggravation .

Love the fix . I have never seen a fuel pump like the one you took off .

That is a very interesting fuel pump . I hope you open it up sometime in a video . I enjoy seeing new to me things like that !!!

I like the setup with what you have with the fuel pump and it looks like it is not near the muffler to cause much issue. I like the bracket setup also always good to keep scrap metal for a rainy but windy day which that wind then was ridiculous causing damage like it did.

I have the same mower and I took my Large Flo jet carb off to rebuild it and it has the same Walbro model 5008 fuel pump

The old fuel pumps work great, but the new ones are fairly inexpensive and easy

Im afraid you might have an issue of the gas getting to hot and partially vapor locking the system by having having the pump next to the hottest part of the engine. Just food for thought if you experience it dying while it’s working hard.

That is a good thought. I’ll keep an eye on that but the original fuel pump was probably closer, so I’m hoping it won’t be an issue.

Did you take it out and go up an incline to see if that helped with sputtering? When I'm working on a project I figure it not manly if you don't have to go to ace at least twice.. 🙂 Is that a tire i see on that mini tire changer on the bench?
@MurphyMower Жыл бұрын
I did Golden Cline, and it did help Typically when I go to Ace to get a nut or a bolt and if I need one, I usually by three And yes, that tire is a little demon
