Hey CJ, It’s a classy combo to say the least.. the perfect example of over done, lol. It works pretty well but it’s definitely more of a “looker” than a “user”.. but I gave it a shot!!

Hi Willie, this video sounded like almost a terror to make. 😒 You must of snuck in-between the rain and wind to try all of those reels. The cold had to be the worst. Did you cast a few, run in dry off, get warm and dash back outside like you said? How miserable it had to be. You did catch at least one or more fish with each reel. Great skills. I can't say they were all nice sized but you caught a variety. I enjoyed watching this one and can't wait for more videos on other reels. The Sears combo is a beautiful set. Ted Williams knew what he wanted and designed it. Didn't he?🤔 Anyway, I love the whole setup. What size is the rod? It tried to double as a drumstick, a few times. 😅 I'm anxiously awaiting for you to use this combo. I hope the weather gets nice for you guys out there. All this week, is our turn for severe storms. I like the reels with the cool medallions on the side plate. I knew you'd figure out why the shaft was so loose! Ummm what kind of sandwich was it?

Sadly the medallions didn’t stay on to well.. The glue would give up the ghost and the probability of coming home medallionless was high. I figured it out and it made me happy that I still have the ability to work this stuff out.. Boring old Ham and Cheese.. 😂

That is a beautiful combo TW reels are common on ebay but rare on combo especially that nice.

This is officially my first TW combo.. I’ve found reels and rods separate from one another but to have an actual combo still in one piece, not an easy find at all. I have to thank Andy for this find. It’s a tank to use but it does work.. 😉.. spoiler!! 😂

Im almost sure that the antireverse gear should have a drag washer on both sides. if one is missing it would explain the slackness. Im sure shakespeare made that reel. i would take it apart and add one and see if it fixes it. Really nice combo

We trade, I give to them as well.. they may not “ask for it” but neither do I. I still make sure they receive something in return.. 95% of what I have, I’ve bought or traded with others, at this point EVERYONE I’ve gotten anything from, got something from me in return..
